I have a nine year old son and he needs an answer about the rides, which is the best?

A. thunder mountain railroad

B. tower of terror

C. space mountain

D. rock and rollercoaster

E. splash mountain

Thanks please answer and reply! :)

they are all great but what is best for one person isn't the best for another
go to youtube & watch videos of each ride & let him decide

both of my boys love splash
one really loves RnRC
ToT - I'm not sure about
Thunder & Space - they enjoy both to these

Big Thunder is the best! My DD9 would agree too! She would say it is the least scary of them. Splash has the big drop, and the other three are in the dark.

My DD who is now 11 has love ToT since she first rode it at 4.5

So she would rank them

Tot
Rock 'n Roler
Splash
Space
Big Thunder

Space would be higher, but we are frequent DL goers, and we are spoiled by Space there.

It is very much an individual choice. That is why there are so many rides and shows--one size does not fit all!

My DD5 rode Big Thunder four times in April. She though it was the best but she wasn't tall enough for Space Mountain or Rock N' Roll Coaster yet. It really depends on your child's personality. Is he a thrill seeker? My boys are thrill seekers and find all of Disney's coasters tame. Busch Gardens and Islands of Adventure hold bigger and faster rides for them. Yet, they still appreciate and enjoy all of the rides you mentioned!

My 3 kids 12, 10, 8
All love Thunder, Space and Splash

My 8 year old HATES Tower of Terror and will only ride R&R 1 time per visit
He also hates Expedition Everest at Ak fyi.

I am not a fan of ToT but do enjoy R&R and of course the other 3

Tower of Terror is lots of belly drops R&R starts off really fast and it's loud.

Have fun. You can always decide at the very end if you don't want to ride. It's fun to walk around in the lines and see things.

My son and I love walking through the Tower of Terror with the rest of the family and then we head out the exit.

Enjoy!

Trish

There are 5 kids ages 9,10, 11, 12 and 13
9, 10 and 11 year olds are girls
12 and 13 are boys
All voted in order of which they like the best
1. Rock and Roller Coaster - they love the speed, theme and the music
2. Splash Moutain - they like getting wet

3. BTMRR

4. Space mountain -just ok

5. Tower of Terror they -do not like the story line, but they like the ride itself.

They also love Expedition Everest which was not on your list. That would have come in at # 2 for them

Well, they are all great, but I would rate space mountain at the bottom of that list simply because it jerks you around more.

Rockin' Roller Coaster is my favorite and we will ride it over and over via single rider line.

We will also ride ToT over and over again if there is no line.

Splash Mnt. has always been a favorite.

You didn't list Expedition Everest, but that is another one we will ride over and over again via single rider line.

I think Splash Mountain is the best and heres why- It is a theme ride and lasts for a good long time in comparison to the others- you can see something new each time you ride, there's a lot of detail- it's nice to get you out of the heat for a while- the plunge at the end is THE BEST!!

My husband says Tower of Terror- it's different every time (literally!)

TOT for me- but my kids would say RRC! I would be sure to ride all of them so you/you kiddos can come to your own conclusion:).

My favorites:
ToT
Splash
RnR
Big Thunder/Space Mountain tied

Expedition Everest would be up there for me, but ToT is firmly at the top.

Two of my sons would probably put RnR first.

At 8, my DD15 fell in love with RocknRollercoaster. She still talks about an epic day in late April when the park was deserted and she rode 8 times in a row. The line attendent gave her a guitar pick pin on about our 6th trip through the line. To this day she would still call it her favorite ride.

She likes all of those mentioned but RnR is the only one that she feels the need to ride over and over. Even on our crowded Summer trips she tries to get in at least 4 rides in a day at DHS.

As an adult, I would rate them:

Splash Mtn, Tower of Terror, Big Thunder Mtn for the top three and in that order. I didn't ride RnR or Space Mtn....

DD, newly nine, liked:

Big Thunder Mtn and Splash, Tower of Terror, Space Mtn in that order

DS, 12, liked:
Splash, Big Thunder Mtn, RnR, Space, Tower of Terror in that order

We ALL loved Everest, but I didn't see it on your list :)
