What should I request for VGC 1 br?

Hello

Do you have any recommendations of what I should request when booking a 1 br at VGC? Also for studios? I have heard requesting theme park view is good.

I don't see my having enough points to ever book a 2 br or a Grand Villa.

We were there this past July in a 1 Bdrm and it was our very first DVC experience to boot! Not sure anything will be able to top it and can't wait to go back. I requested high floor, theme park view. We were the 5th floor, there are only 6. We overlooked Paradise Pier and the sights and sounds of DCA were everywhere. We could see WOC off to the left but it really needs to be experienced when you are right in front of it. Regardless of where your room is you are going to love it!! Enjoy.

Like the previous poster, I requested high floor, theme park view. Got room 5508 (1-br), on the 5th floor with a good view of World of Color.

Saw WoC twice from the room, once from a regular lakeside viewing area (very crowded), and once from the VIP viewing area by purchasing the dinner package. The dinner package was well worth it IMO. I thought it was a lot of food (had to take dessert back to the room), was a resonable price, and the VIP viewing area was fantastic.

Sounds the the 08 rooms are all good I had 3508 last May and watched the testing for WOC from the room..as others have said you really need to to see this show up close and right in front to see the projections well. The view from the viewing platform was interesting, and they did pipe in the music, but again, the projections were missed. The dinner option worked out really great for us, but we still had to line up and get into the viewing section early to make sure we could get a good view.

My son and I are the only ones in my family who love WOC. We have watched it several times with the last being in the front row wet zone. This will be our first visit as owners. I am so excited. I love my family shares my love for Disney.
