I'm stumped and it's driving me crazy. I'm a master costumer and I can't figure out what to make this year. Last year I did Renaissance versions of Jack Skellington and Sally, and the year before that I was a corpse fairy. This year, I haven't been inspired yet. I thought being a Gashlycrumb Tiny would be fun, but really, I'd need a bunch of other people to pull that off properly. Just one Tiny isn't enough. I also thought about being the Doubtful Guest, but I really don't want to do a full-body fur costume. (If you don't know what I'm talking about here, look up Edward Gorey. He's wonderful.)

So: what should I do? Help!

I usually cruise around online looking at costume ideas and thinking of my favorite story characters.

This year, money's tight with my DH being laid off. So I went though my closet and decided to be Velma from Scooby Doo
