Hello, anyone here. i intends to take some time to travel to Disney, but i don't know exactly what i should carry. i'm enjoyed in taking photoes, a camera is necessary for me. And i would like to bougt another camera battery and a battery charger. could you give me some suggestions in order to make my travel funner?

Hi -
I don't know whether you need another battery or not but maybe a larger memory card (if you have that type of camera) and just recharge the batteries at night. If worse came to worse for photos, carry your cell-phone/i-pod/i-phone and use the camera feature or buy a disposable camera.

When I go into the parks I carry both a camera and cell phone and maybe my i-pod touch. For adults in the parks we don't need much. Ticket, camera, wallet and maybe rain gear depending on the forecast (I prefer an umbrella to a poncho). If it's hot then there is usually an unopened bottle of water too.

All DH and I bring to WDW is:

-Wallet
-Sunscreen
-Poncho (the "emergency" camping kind - very small package)
-Cell Phone
-Camera with extra batteries and memory
-A water bottle (if you ask any quick service place with a soda fountain, they will give you a HUGE cup of ice water for FREE)
-a fanny pack to hold it or a very small backpack
-Sometimes (during the summer) a mister fan

I travel to solo to Disneyland all the time and I must have my camera and cell phone on me. I also bring a water bottle, hat, sun glasses and a very light jacket in a very small backpack. That's it for me.

what I had been carrying lately in a little pouch/coin purse size... cell phone which is really use as camera, AP, Key Card and $$$ that's it !!! :goodvibes

Some stuff may/will be repeated here, but I think all of these are necessary:

-Comfortable shoes (especially a pair that is recently broken in)
-Maps
-A travel guide (plenty out there, just find one that suits you)
-Sunscreen (getting some sun in Florida is like making snow angels in Alaska. It's gonna happen and you need the protection ;))
-Camera (something you've mentioned, just make sure you've got a big memory card and that camera's battery charger handy)
-Poncho (It doesn't rain in Florida...it POURS. Find something at Wal-Mart or someplace like that so you can save some money)
-Small backpack (something to hold stuff in.)
-Wallet with some cash (I hear that some cast members liked to be tipped... just sayin' :rolleyes1)

Have fun!

When I went solo in November, here were my essentials

DSLR
Point and shoot
Wallet with cash, credit card, license and KTTW card
Bottle of water that I would just refill when needed
Baseball cap (or other hat....I learned quickly that my face and the sun don't mix)
A sweatshirt for when it got cool.

Have fun! No need to carry anything you wouldn't normally carry!!

I would think you would be set with your phone, money, and camera. If you need anything else they have it there.

Ditto! I have a small over the shoulder (or across the body) purse which is just big enough for my cell phone, small point-n-shoot camera, and a couple of cards and some cash. As a solo traveler, I love that I don't have to be anyone's packmule :) I always put on sunscreen before leaving the room. And if it looks like rain before I head out for the parks, I'll wear a hooded rain coat (in cooler weather).

If the weather changes to a downpouring rain, I'll buy a poncho in the park. If I'm thirsty, I'll buy a water. Sure, it's not economical to pay for another poncho or multiple water bottles. But I would rather have my hands/back free than carry around a bunch of things I may or may not use. I've even discarded a poncho (cheap one - not WDW) if the rain clears up and I don't want to carry a wet poncho around.

Agreed with the 'less is more'. Trust me, I have carried a larger purse/bag for water, snacks, random stuff (that you end up not using), ect. One day my husband told me to just leave everything (other than money, and camera) and it was SO LIBERATING! If you need it THAT BAD, you can buy it.

Our list is similar
- water
- cellphone
- small camera (fit in pocket -- bought one for the trip)
- wallet

If you take a backpack:
- advil, tyelnol, etc.
- hand sanitizer (does the parks have these readily available???)
- tissues
- another T shirt (if long hot day)
- deodarant
