Hi! DD 2 1/2 will be dressing up for princess breakfast at Ecpot. She is wearing a cinderella dress, but I have no idea what shoes to put on her. She is too little for dress up shoes I think... Just don't want her to look silly in the pics! Hmmm... Blue dress w/pink & white mickey crocs? :) Thanks!

I have seen little girls in everything--the shoes that go with the dress, regular dress shoes, tennis shoes, sandals, crocs, etc. My DD(now 4) has worn her little Cinderella shoes with her dress, but she only wears the dresses for a character meal and then we change her into regular clothes right after. If it's for MNSSHP, then she has worn comfortable shoes to walk around in. I really don't think pics will look silly because I think most little girls wear something comfy...:goodvibes

We went on the Disney Cruise in May and I was worried about my DD wearing the Princess shoes on the ship b/c I kept hearing everyone talk about sea legs. So I didn't want her stumbling all over the boat!! We bought her a cute pair of white flip-flops with irredescent sequence all over the straps!! They went with both her Cinderella dress and her Sleeping Beauty dress!! And they were very comfortable!!

My DD wears Crocs with all her Princess outfits. I have not seen any princess "dress up" shoe that would be comfortable to wear around Disney.

We took her summer dress shoes (which still fit) and spray painted them sparkly silver with paint from her dance recital. The paint can be bought at most dance shops, too, and it works REALLY well and looks pretty. Then, we worked together to add some beads and sequins with hot glue (some of which came off!) This plan was what we did two years in a row because it worked so well-- the shoes were already broken in and were fine for hyer to wear most of the day because she was in a stroller much of the time anyway (age 3 and 4 on the trips.) Plus, it was a nice bit of recycling since we travel to Disney in November usually and she wasn't going to be wearing white patent shoes anymore that year.

SIL bought second hand dress shoes for her DDs because they had outgrown their own dress shoes from the summer by November and the plan worked just as well.

since we're doing 1900 park fare on a day we aren't going into the parks...my dd will wear her cinderella "glass slipper" jelly shoes with her gown. I will probably bring a pair of white socks to wear with the shoes to keep the comfort level up.

My DD wore her sandals, and they looked fine.

To be honest with you, her feet don't show in any of the pictures. Most of the pictures are from the waist up. :)

Like many of the pp's dd's usually did white sandels or ked type sneakers. If I had time sometimes I would spray them with glitter paint in the appropriate color.

When my oldest was Minnie Mouse I sprayed the keds bright yellow and put minnie mouse hair bows on them and if I do say so they were very cute :)

I found some silver sequin shoes at Target that were on the clearance rack for only $3. They look just like the red sheos that Dorothy from the wizard of oz wears. We have gotten so much use out of them as we have been to our fair share of princess meals in the past few months. I plan on getting her more when they get them back. She says that they comfortable and they have a strap across her foot so that they don't slip off.

My little DGD wore her white sneakers with her Cinderella dress. She looked so cute with those white sneakers peeking out from her dress!

We've been lucky in finding sparkly white, pink, red and black mary janes at Target when DD dressed as a Princess for Halloween. With fall stuff already out they might have them now.

If you can't find those I'd go with black or white patent mary janes. I don't like those dress up shoes for my DD since she usually ends up running around in her costume and I'm afraid she'll fall off of them.
