... and then pink Converse for the reception.![]()
Oh my gosh, I hear you guys! I'm nearly 4 inches taller than my boyfriend, and I'm obsessing over how we would look at the altar. I feel so guilty about being bothered by it, so it's great to hear other people worry about the same thing.
Calanniebu, I just noticed that your groom is standing on a paver in your sig pic - what a great idea! Although I'm pro'lly going to have to carry around a stepstool for mine...![]()
Great choice! I also wore Converse on my wedding day. Our Rolls Royce chauffeur kept commenting on my "slippers."![]()
Love it!Here are my shoes I wore the whole day. No one saw them at the ceremony or for the photo shoot except for Randy Chapman because he snapped this picture. At the reception during the garter toss is when everyone saw them. They were dying laughing. They said they were wondering when the real Tammy would show up. I am such a tomboy and I had on this princess dress, so they all thought it was great that I had on indoor soccer shoes. It showed my personality. Also they were so easy to walk in and I had no worries about slipping or twisting my ankle. I love to wear heels but I didn't want the pain to show in my pictures. My feet never hurt once! It was wonderful....plus no one knew until I showed them. If you don't think your shoes will ever show then you should go with something comfortable. You always hear about Brides' feet hurting. If you go with a different kind of shoe make sure when you try on your dress for your fitting that you wear them. Think of the possible times your feet might show and do all those things to make sure you don't see the shoes. I had my friend watch me walk around and dance to make sure you couldn't see them. Plus I talked to the lady who did the alterations so that she knew I didn't want my feet to show.
