What rides may I NOT wear a cross-body bag on?

No one will make you remove it. You can easily wear it on most rides, but I use a LeSportSac Kasey bag as my park bag, and I prefer putting it into the cargo pockets on the rides that have them. No reason you have to, though.

I wear mine on all the rides. Just keep it close to you or store it in the pockets that some rides have.

I have several Vera Bradley mini hipsters. It's my go-to park bag if i don't go bagless. It pretty much stays on my body all day long. i might put it in the mesh pouches if there are overhead restraints.

I love crossbodies because you don't have to think about carrying a bag or accidentally putting it down somewhere, but they don't have the "nerd" stigma of fanny packs.

I wear a cross-body bag to the parks because I hardly ever have to take it off. I wear it on everything except Soarin'. So much easier than when I used to cary around a tote bag and always had to shove it in those mesh pockets.

Same here...one of the purposes I even wear a cross-body is because I have a terrible habit of setting things down and forgetting. I wear a small cross-body and I forget I even have....but I know it's not hanging on a bathroom door somewhere!! :upsidedow

This is what confuses me. "Keep it on"? Do you not feel safe having off your body?

You can take any bag onto any Disney attraction. Now, if you don't want to remove it from your body, then you would have to deal with whatever safety restraints are offered. Quite honestly, I would just take the bag off, put it into whatever holder is on the attraction or, if there isn't one, just put it at your feet like everyone else. There will be just a few people on an attraction that DON'T have a bag so it's really no big deal.

I don't see what's so confusing. If it is holding my cell phone, camera, key to the world card and $ then I would like to be careful with it. I got the crossbody so I could keep it close and not worry about having to set it down. If I have to take it off I will, but it will contain some important things. That's why I asked.

I have all that stuff in my bag too, but have never worried about it being in the provided compartment on rides that offer one.

But you will not have to take it off unless it interferes with your fastening the ride restraint.

I am able to ride every ride with my crossbody bag, including rock n roller coaster. I once rode it 8 times with my bag on, and it was just fine! I think it depends on the size. I got a small Tianella(sp, I know that's not right sorry) and it was a beautiful park bag, and this time I have a small Sack(again not right sorry) bag and they are simply wonderful to go to the park with. I have not had an issue on any ride!! And I tend to load mine down lol, but it doesn't hinder me at all really.

It's confusing to me because I have all those things as well and just take my bag off my body. To each her own.

Me too. i had the dealership drop me off at the mall while I was having work done on my car, and brought my IPad with me...thought I'd eat in the food court and read my book. I left my IPad in the first bathroom I stopped at!! :scared1: Luckily, I remembered about a minute after I exited, and it was still there when I went back!! Anyway, I carry a cross body more for the safety of me not losing things, versus the fear of someone snatching my bag.

Well, on Soarin', they put all your bags into a luggage compartment. The only other ride I can see a problem with is RR, since it goes upside down and such.

Have a magical trip!
I just kept my bag at my feet (through my foot actually) on RNRC...it goes so fast my bag didnt go anywhere.

I left my purse on Star Tours at Disneyland when I was 14 and I have never forgotten how that feels (it did get retrieved but was time-consuming and mortifying). I rarely take off my cross-body Baggalini or if I do, I wrap the straps around my legs. That's my favorite thing about the bag -- I don't have to take it off for anything like a backpack.

I have a smaller messenger bag that I carry with me to the parks and wear as a cross body bag. I never take it off, except for soarin...I smash it underneath the restraint in RnR. Would not take anything else. Have a great trip!

Universal's locker system once assigned me a locker that still had someone's stuff in it. I don't trust it. At Universal I try to put the necessary stuff in cargo pants and if I want to buy something I do it when I'm done riding.

Now that's interesting! We have APs, and are there about once a month, and haven't had a problem. Interesting. I do know my finger scans don't work at Universal, we have to have my boyfriend open the lockers, and I have to show my id to get in the park.

We have lost sunglasses from my boyfriends cargo shorts ... which is why we put everything in the locker. Interesting (and scary!)

I wonder if the person before you didn't close it properly .. which I've seen others have an issue with. You completely blew my mind with this, because it's honestly (imho) a great idea for an amusement park.

It happened once, but that was enough. Locker attendant shrugged and opened another one.

For reference, that roller coaster in the Studios park at Universal -the vertical hill one, Rip Rocket something - they don't even allow stuff in cargo pants, everything needs to be stored, whether you trust the lockers or not. They won't frisk you but they ask you umpteen times to put in EVERY loose item you have.

For me, its the worry that i might for get a stowed bag. I know its unlikely with everyone else collecting them too, but I feel better if I just leave it on, so I carry a small cross body with a zipper so nothing spills and just wear it unless I HAVE to remove it, like on soarin.

Zombie thread alert - this thread is from over 3 years ago. FYI, if you found this thread from the recommended ones at the bottom of the page, those are often old threads that haven't been posted to in a long time.

Star tours once I rode with it on no problem. Got back on and fasened seatbelt and the lady said it had to be removed. Seat belt was locked - she unlocked them and I took it off then seatbelt wouldn't lock. I had to exit the ride and they put me on a different one. A lady on that ride pod (or whatever it is called) did the same thing and they unlocked and made her take hers off. Fortunately her seatbelt would lock again.

Well, I think it would be hard (if not impossible) to wear on RnR, but other than that I can't think of a ride where it would be a problem.

I wear a small-ish Pacsafe crossbody bag and I had no problems wearing it on everything including RnR.
