Were you able to order shakes/smoothies at any of the restaurants in place of a soda on the DDP? If so, where? Thanks

Tracy

Kona - Sand in the Pants ;)
Artist Point - virgin Pina Colada
Turf Club - could have but didn't (on advice of EXCELLENT server)
Coral Reef - no
Le Cellier - don't remember what I drank but the food was fantasic!

Depends on the restaurant, may depend on the server, no free refills.

smoothies at Boatwrights
Anything without alcohol at Artist Point.... except a bottle of Panna or Pellegrino. However, some servers will make an exception of the exception if the bottle is to be shared by 2 or more diners as their only drink choice.

Milkshake at the Turf Club. It was delicious, but it was a very bad idea in retrospect. I don't have a great appetite to begin with, and I was full after the milkshake. That was a shame, since the Turf Club was the only good meal we actually had on the DDP

Le Celliar, Kona, 'Ohana, Cape May Cafe all offered my kids smoothies as their drinks. Rose and Crown threw in glow cubes on the plan too. DD got a milkshake at Sci-Fi but I'm not sure if we paid seperatly for that-we had alcohol too and I didn't look closely at that bill. Wolfgang Puck will not give the kids milk on the DDP-we paid OOP for my DD's chocolate milk. Not a big deal, but just thought I'd mention it.

Interesting. I looked at the menu (we have ressies there for end of next week) and they show something called a "milk flight" for the kids. So what do they give the kids to drink on the DDP? Soda or water? Or juice? Just want to be prepared.

Soda was the only choice at Wolfgang Puck on the dining plan. If juice was allowed our waiter didn't mention it. My DD doesn't really like soda all that much-she's a huge water drinker and sometimes chocolate milk. She'll drink soda if she doesn't have a water/milk option, but it's not her favorite. The milk they have at WGP are these little chug bottles. We payed for one and then my DD switched to water. I think they were around $2 and pretty small. I doubt they would last an entire meal for most kids.
