Me and my family were on the Disney website lat night and saved three resort options. The Wilderness Lodge, Coronado Springs, or Animal Kingdom Lodge. They are all for 5 days. We have stayed at AKL and loved it, never been to the other too. Surprisingly WL is most expensive, but CS is the least expensive. It will be my mom, brother, and me (16). What do you guys think? Has anyone stayed at all three? Pros and cons? Thanks!! :goodvibes

WILDERNESS LODGE!! IMHO its much closer to the theme parks and its beautiful!

Animal Kingdom Lodge is my favorite <3

Wilderness Lodge is my families favorite

both are equally amazing :]

My dad works at Coronado Springs, so I'm vouching for it. ;)

But don't really listen to me as I've never been to any of the hotels.

I'm going to vote for the Wilderness Lodge, because after watching "Great Hotels" with Samantha Brown, I kinda have a new love for it..

I think they're all amazing! AKL is soo beautiful, but I've only stayed at CSR out of all of them. I think you'll have a fun time either way(:

I haven't stayed at AKL (too far from the parks for me) or WL (Too close to what we have here at home ((Yellowstone is 90 minutes away))) or CSR. But out of those three, I'd have to say WL. Second for me would be CSR.

Looks like the trend is AKL and WL, and I agree. I've stayed at Coranado too, but AK was my fave. But since you're looking to try something new, I'd definately go with WL. My sister and I went biking on one of their trails, had a stare off with a dear, then went to a petting zoo type thing near the trailers. It was pretty cool. Plus the rooms are pretty nice too. Coranado has too much of a regular hotel atmosphere to me, WL makes you feel like you're at a resort. But like I said they don't beat AK.

Personally, I would stay at the Wilderness Lodge. It is close to the MK so that is a big plus. But, if u like the AK better, I would say at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Never stayed at either, but I have been to both.

i have been to all three. AKL is fun if you wanna wake up and go out to your balcony and watch the animals, but really to me it seems like a dark resort, and the animals are pretty much the only reason we stayed there. CS i've been to a coupla times. it is a bit of a walk to and from your room and a bus stop, but has great theming and the walk is the only bad thing. I prefer WL though. The decor is peaceful and homey. The food there is good too. And if ur brother is 10 or under, there is a little like daycare and it's pretty fun. i went when i was 10, and i liked it. i got to color a lot, a movie was playing, and you get dinner too. But anyway, my vote goes to WL. hope i helped :thumbsup2

WL is worth every penny. I think the WL is my favorite. It's so nice and calming to come back to after a tiring day at the parks. I would stay there again in a heart beat. When I stayed there 2 years ago, we could see the electric water parade from our room. The pool isn't that great, but a pool is a pool. And it has a cute little beach with a tetherball court, and it's so close to the magic kingdom. And fort wilderness! Me and my cousins accidentally walked right to it! :rotfl:

I'm staying at AKL for the first time this june. I've visited there a lot, and it looks really amazing! I love the african theme and decor. And I like the darkness of it all.

Out of those 3, I've only stayed at WL, but I was really little. I don't remember it that much, but I remember I LOVED it. My family says it was fab too.

I stayed at both AKL and CSR - but haven't stayed at Wilderness Lodge so I would probably choose there.

Have you considered doing a split stay?

I never stayed at animal Kingdom Lodge but I was there and i loved it so I would say AKL!

AKL is my favorite resort. its so quiet and peaceful and relaxing.

I vote AKL. I stayed there once, and thought it was really cool. Especially if your room has a view of the animals. Its really fun to wake up early and sit out on the balcony and see them all wandering around. :goodvibes
