What Releases are You Looking Foward to this Holiday Season?

I already pre-ordered the fifth season of Lost and Harry Potter, which I'm especially super excited about this year since I now have a blu-ray player.

I'm also looking foward to renting Up, Julie and Julia, and Night at the Museum II.

In theaters I can't wait to see New Moon and the Princess and theh Frog.

A Christmas Carol - such a classic story and from the reviews that I have read, it's a pretty faithful adaptation (Dickens' story is so timeless!). Here is a review in case anyone want to read up before heading to the theater. I know I stalk reviews before going to the movies.

Four Christmases. I just added it to my Netflix que but it does not release until 11/24. We'll be seeing Princess & the Frog too and maybe Cmas Carol (wondering how that is for a 6 year old?)

Good selection (I saw 4 Christmases last Thanksgiving and loved it). I would say that A Christmas Carol is appropriate for young kids. Kids are exposed to so many spooky things these days (that have no substance and don't teach any lessons either!!), while this story shows a real transformation. Obviously it's your call, but I think it captures the true meaning of Christmas like few other films can. Has anyone seen an advanced screening?
