I got $155 plus tax for WL, standard view. I saw it quoted at $130 on another site (intercot) but they offered me the $155 and I took it for Aug 6,7,8.

They quoted me $120 plus tax for the CBR and $235 at AKL for a std Savannah view (if I remember correctly!)

The moderate and AKL rates do not seem correct. AP rates would be lower than that and they usually run neck and neck.

I just priced WL and AKL std online for the August FL res rate and got $144.95 with tax included for both places. You may want to check on that.

This is how it should be: They are offering a Fl Res. discount from 8/6/06 to 8/26/06. It is for $25 off the value resorts, $50 off the mods, and $75 off the deluxes. The value and moderate resorts are in their "regular" season as far as rates go, so for example, it would be $155 a night in any moderate minus the $50 savings, making the room cost $105 a night before the tax.

The deluxe resorts are in their "value" season from July 5th - Oct. 4th, making this the cheapest time to book a room at a deluxe. As for AKL and WL, the lowest priced deluxes, they would be $205 for a standard room minus the $75 savings to make the room $130 before the tax.

Just if you are wondering, a standard room in one of the Epcot area resorts would be higher. The YC/BC or BWI would be $305 minus the $75 savings to make that room cost $230 before tax.

Could you have been quoted the total including the tax?

When do they publish FL Resident Rates for late Sept/early Oct?

How much would they discount off value season rates?

Thanks!

It depends on how many rooms they have available. They don't always publish FL resident rates for all times of the year (just when it is a bit slower). But, for that time frame you'll probably be looking at August at the earliest for any FL resident specials to come out. The discount can vary too.

September is generally slow, but October can be a rather busy time and in the past there haven't always been discounts at that time, if so, they sell out quickly.

I realized that I am getting the WL for $130 plus $25 for my 20 year old (who is our Florida resident via college!)
