Just trying to plan for our April 21st cruise. What are the best excursions? We have a DD5 and DD 6mos. I thought swimming w/ the dolphins would be fun, but dont know how we could take the little one too.

Any thoughts would be appreciated

Disney has 3,4 or 7 day cruises no 5 that I know of ? I have not done swimming w/ the dolphins but in 99 did the Dolphin encounter in Nassau with my 5 year old you are in waist deep water and the dolphin comes up to you and interacts . I am not sure your 5 year old is old enough for a swim but she must also be a good swimmer you are in deep water and from watching she would have to able to be out there away from you at times . For my 5 year old she would not been able or want to do that . But also check age limitaions they may not let 5 year olds anyway seems like I remember you had to 8 . If you adults want to do this it may be best to leave children on the boat in Kids club and babysitting . Good luck . Doreen

Are you talking about the four night cruise - which is almost five days, except you have to be off the boat early on the fifth day not many people count that as an actual day.

I'm not sure that the baby could go on any Disney Sponsored excursions. I know there's an minimum age limit for children but not sure if this totally excludescone so young, but I think it probably does.

You're going to have to be really careful with the baby in the sun. Check with your doctor about using sunscreen on her. How about just walking around Nassua for a bit?

You may want to just go to a beach or walk around town and sight see. I believe that infant care has a time limit of 2 hours per visit. Most of Disney's excursions are for children 5 and older. In my opinion the Disney excursions are over priced including the Dolphin swim. I would fear spending all that money and my child get scared at the last minute, it may be best to wait on that one till she is older.
