Homecomin' - Disney Springs - is hosted by Chef Art Smith, formerly Oprah's personal chef & winner of TV's Chopped. Top-notch fried chicken & 'Southern' fare. It's pricey for chicken, but we enjoyed our experience.

50's Prime Time - Holywood Studios - it's intended to be 'home-style' cooking, including fried chicken; similar dishes include meatloaf & pot roast - all with mashed potatoes.

House of Blues - Disney Springs - we've enjoyed our food here, chicken comes drizzled in honey. But we only seemed to go when Cirque du Soleil had performances. Maybe the music at the venue works for your family, or the Gospel Brunch - with chicken & waffle combination.

If you prefer counter service to table service, P&J's Southern Takeout at Fort Wilderness has the same fried chicken served at Hoop Dee Do and Trails End. It is located between Trails End and Pioneer Hall. YUM!!

Agree with YUM! We had the fried chicken at HDD.

Olivia's at Old Key West has wonderful Southernmost Buttermilk Fried Chicken (boneless breast) with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus Haricot Verts (skinny green beans). Delicious.

Another vote for Trails End, or PJ's take out, same place

I agree I think Trails End is the best. HDDR does too but they get it from Trails End. So good.
