What photographer did you use for your Disney Wedding??

Another bride who used Randy. We loved both his pictures and his personality. It was by far the best decision we made about the wedding to go with him.

I dont agree with Sir Ron... and so that others arent mislead ill post a couple of photos that I dont feel are point and click. For the amount of photos that you received from Randy theres hardly room to complain. If he took a minute or two to set up a complete shot you would miss quite a bit from your wedding, reception, etc (he works great with the time he has!). I got these in a quite second so im sorry-- i probobly didnt get my best. But my TR has most of my photos in it... and I got very few point and click-- most he has thrown in atleast a tiny bit of personality.

I love your photos maggie and if I could I would have randy as well, the only reason we are going with misty is that she does a cd only package and as we are from the UK we thought that was easier and we can then get the albums done here.

Your photos are why I REALLY wanted randy but we dont really want the whole package that he offers.

I haven't booked anyone yet but I'm going to go with outside photography. I'm a freelance photgrapher myself (still teaching until I have enough money saved to start my own photography business) so photography is a really big deal to me. Randy's stuff is good, but he doesn't have that edge I'm looking for. Misty Miotto is a maybe but I'm still on the hunt. Just make sure that when you are looking at photographers explain exactly what you have in mind and see if they share your vision. If not, move on.

I have to say I thought Randy was a tad overrated, because I think other photographers are just as good, but Maggie, your pics are amazing. I'm super happy with the photographer I chose (Scoobie, and I did a lot of research). It's amazing how fast photographers book up. I called over a year out and the first 4 people I called were already booked. It was hard for me to find a package I liked in my price range too.

Wow, I haven't been on here forever, but I wanted to add my two cents!

I agree with a few posters on here that mentioned that Randy may be a tad overrated! We almost went with him from straight reviews from this board, but decided to look a little deeper! I do agree that Maggies photos are some of the best Randy photos I've seen, you look great! (Hope I dont get flamed here!)

There are tons of amazing photographers in Orlando, it's all a matter of what your style is and what you are looking for. We wanted a more photojournalistic approach since photography was so important to us. My dad is a professional landscape photographer so we wanted something great! We decided to book Christopher Patrick Photography. www.cpoweddings.com Chris is awesome and we are going to Orlando at the end of this month to get engagement photos done! I would strongly suggest him! He also gives disney bride discounts because I think he got married at Disney! I dont know, but I hope that helps anyone who is looking around!!

I agree that Randy is overrated... great guy and beautiful work but not consistent at all. Maggies pics are some of the best I have seen but I haven't seen him produce other work as good on a regular basis. We chose someone who we know will produce the same quality again and again.

This is off topic but I can't believe how filthy your poor dress is at the bottom in the shot of you walking into the water. It makes me not want to wear my dress at all! It's going to be so hard to see it get all dirty after months of trying to keep it in pristine condition in the closet.

How many people have used Disney Photographers? Are you happy with the results? Do you get a copy of the CD with the pictures?

I really want to use a photographer that gives you a CD of all the pictures taken, which photographers do this?

Every photographer BUT Disney does this. Well, Disney will give you a CD of images - for an extra $1,000! All the other photographers include it in their package price. there have been several photography threads recently - I bet you'll turn up a lot of info if the search function is working today!

I misused point and click. What i meant is that he does a lot the typical wedding photos that many like we do not. I don't mean point and click as it relates to basic cameras.

Regardless, he's a good photographer. I just think there are a few others with more talent. Misty would be one of them.

We're going with Root Photography. I looked at Randy's website, but the pictures weren't quite what I wanted. I'm looking for a very fresh, photojournalistic/candid type style instead of traditional wedding portraits and the Roots do a really good job. Plus, their Disney bride special is hard to beat. I'm getting all my photos on a CD (no prints) and 7 hours of photography with 2 photographers for $1,800!

I Was Going With Disney, Upuntil This Week (2.5 Wks Before Wedding) And I Called Randy And Luckily He Was Available He Was Cheaper Than Disney You Actually Get Picts With Him, And The Cd .
Disney Gives You A Low Res Cd That If You Print Off Of The Picts Will Be Terrible. To Buy The High Res Cd It Is $1000.
Look Into Everyone And See Who You Like But For The Money Disney Photo Is Not Worth It Go With Someone On The Outside...

I am getting married in May in Disney world. It's at the Grand Floridian and the chairs are pink so we wanted to go with the ballroom chairs but to rent them , they are 12.00 a chair plus a 180.00 delivery fee! It's really expensive for chairs, does anyone have any suggestions or did anyone get chairs from outside vendors????Also any suggestions for outside florists????

I considered that , but it is still about 10.00 per chair, I was wondering if anyone knew of any outside companies that bring in chairs for less. Also, I am going to check out those sites.....have you ever heard of DreamDesignsFlorist in orlando??
