What percent of villas are sold to DVC members?

"Only 5% of the villas are sold to DVC members...the remainder is kept by Disney for when rooms are being repaired, etc. ALso when DVC members use their points to take a cruise, those rooms are then released to disney for sale to the public."

I just saw this posted on another thread, this can't possibly be true. Is it?

The majority of points are sold to DVC members. Disney retains a minimum of ~2%.

you didn't see my next post...the % is actually 95% ...not 5%
