I was an angel once - honest!!:D
I was also Mary - and I detested my Joseph.:(

How about the rest of you? Care to share?
Pam

In kindergarten I was the lead candy cane with the sugar plum fairies!!! That was about 22 years ago.....uuuggghhh!!! I feel old now!!

We had a Christmas concert every year and I was always in the choir. I was in the Cantata, the female choir and was CLOSE to being the baritone of the group, so the highlight of my LIFE in High school was when I was allowed to sing the baritone section of the Hallelujah chorus one year with the mixed chorus! :bounce: It was more than 30 years ago and I still get excited about it!

Gee - Chrissi and Robin,
We must have been the only thespians on the DIS!!
Pam

I was always cast as an Angel. It's a good thing people in the audience knew the lines from the Bible I had to recite, because they sure didn't hear me too well when I said my lines.:teeth: A thespian I am not!

Twenty five years as a castmember in the Miami Christmas Pageant playing various parts but always in the Choir. No longer doing it because of the lousy attitude towards providing interpreting for deaf people. Also the director has a crappy attitude towards hard of hearing as well.

In 1st grade I was upset because I got picked to be a shepherd! But in 8th grade I got to be an angel so that made up for it. :)

I was never in one because I was too young before we moved and after we moved they didn't have one. Just sang in the church choir for Christmas :)

Pam, you sure they made you an angel??? Maybe they learned their lesson after the first time ;)

Santa in the First and Second Grades. On year I'll never forget - i forgot my black boots!!! The Teacher almost killed me LOL! She was quite mean now that I think of it! :(

Well........ Elaine.......... funnnnneeeeeeee that you should mention that:

Pam, you sure they made you an angel??? Maybe they learned their lesson after the first time

My Dad made my halo and wings. He's a very creative guy!:D He took a long time to make everything just right! I had the "extended model" halo. It elevated several inches above all the other angels...... When we were offstage, we were behind the curtains - which were illuminated by candles.......

I got in trouble big time with my Mom when we got home, cause the audience could see us cutting up via the candlelight - and of course I had the "extended model" halo and couldn't blame my antics on anyone else!!

Even though I don't remember my shining moment in our church Christmas pageant, I'm quite proud of it.

I was baby Jesus :)

At a month and a half old, I was the perfect age. My parents still have the church bulletin that lists my name.

Ah, Tamie,
You truly were the star of the show!! Your parents must have been very trusting people! Were the Mary and Joseph adults or kids??
Pam

You know Pam, I think my parents might have been Mary and Joseph.

I was a present in our kindergarten Christmas play. I still remember what I had to say......Wrapped so pretty and tied so tight, I'll keep you guessing on Christmas night! :) :) Encore, encore....lol

I wanted to be "Rudolph" but the eighth grader with the , well, good physique got the lead roll, I was dasher. But my mom was the one to find the brown pajamas at CH Martin's for the costumes!
