We will be arriving the sat after thanksgiving around noon. We want to utilize the 1st day (especially since the parks are open latest on this day). We are not squished for time since we are staying until Friday night. Where should we go? I want to spend sat night at the parks but I don't want to spend the whole time waiting in lines with our 3 and 5 year olds (while 6 months pregnant).

Id go to Epcot! Thats where we are going on Saturday. Crowds dont seem as bad there since its so big and spread out. You can have a great day in Epcot since there is so much more to do than stand in lines for rides and attractions! By the time you get to Epcot, maybe Future World wont be so crowded and eveyrone will have moved on to World Showcase. Hit as much as possible in FW. The kids will like Figment, and the cool fountains. A great way to get of your hopefully not swollen feet is to see Ellen's Energy Adventure! Its a nice 45 minute ride!! You can spend time in the countries letting the kids make their masks at the kidcot stations and seeing the Holidays Around the World. Thats where each country's 'Santa' comes out and tells a story about how they celebrate the holidays. This will be on your times schedule that you get with your maps. Catch the tree lighting ceremony too. What a perfect start to a perfect vacation!!

AimeeM is correct. On Saturday of T-giving weekend, Epcot is the best choice. MK will be jam packed that night and I suspect the Studios will be as well.

We're going to MGM and hoping for the best. We know that it will be busy but we have 8 days.

We did Epcot last year and are planning on it again this year. It really handles crowds well there since you have the extra time to spend watching the santa stories or exploring places that you normally rush through. If you use fast passes for the big rides, you will be able to minimize your wait time and still be able to see everything.

I heard MK was packed last year. We didn't even try to go there!!

We are going at about the same time as the orginal poster, but arriving on Friday. We were considering AK for Saturday, would that be a poor choice?

i was thinking epcot also. but now it looks like more have the same idea. choices choices???

Personally I think all parks will be busy that day so expect that. With that said I agree that Epcot will probably be the least crowded on any Saturday. Many times in the past we've hit MK on a Saturday morning and hopped over to Epcot around noon and thought the crowds were much lighter.:)

Epcot is where we plan to start the day Sat. after Thanksgiving! We will then head to MGM about 3, as we have a 4:20 ps at Mama Melrose's (Fantasmic Dinner Pkg.). Fantasmic is at 6:30 that night, also hoping to see the Osbourne Lights for the first time! :D
