sorry sure this has been asked before but i don't regularly get stuff printed...i used adorama this time and the quality was ok and i loved the metallic paper for one shot but just wondering what those who print or get prints made a lot like for what type of photo( ie b&W, portrait etc)...i'm going to try mpix next but had a deal for adorama and wanted to try them...i think mpix had some photo types listed under each paper choice but would like personal experince...
the biggest problem i had with adorama was the b&w wasn't as contrasty , not sure if it was due to the metallic paper or if they adjusted color( i asked them not to) they recommeded another paper for B&w but i wanted the metallic for another shot.
also anyway other than paying shipping a few times by making multiple orders to get a few types of paper per order? e i had a b&W and some color but had to get them all in the same paper, it appeared mpix was the same way.
