What OV staterooms on the Dream sleep 5?

Hi everyone,

We are considering a cruise on the dream, but need to know which stateroom numbers sleep 5, and what is the bedding arrangement? We are going with a large group, and for pricing purposes need a OV room that would actually sleep 5.

Thank you!

IIRC, only categories 4A-4E sleep 5 (outside of suites) but they are verandah cabins.

There's a helpful thread somewhere on here listing many rooms on both the Fantasy and Dream with how many they sleep and what bedding is in each room.

I know 9000 and 9500 on the Dream sleep 5. I don't know if all in that general category do though.

One way to identify rooms that sleep 5 (other than by calling DCL) is to try to book a cruise for 5 online. Any rooms that show as available will have room for 5. On the classic ships, rooms that sleep 5 will have a bed that sleeps 2, bunk beds (composed of a sofa that flips to a single bed and a single bed that comes down from the ceiling) and single bed that folds out of the wall. I think it's the same for the Dream/Fantasy, though I've heard some rooms have a double sofa bed.

I have done this myself, works well. Just pick a very far in the future cruise, otherwise when cabins and lifeboats start filling up, it will no longer be completely accurate.

Yes, I also will "fake book" a far future cruise to see which rooms will fit 5 and are connecting, because that's what is required.

Category 8D-8A will have some rooms that sleep 5.

This is correct. On the Dream class ships, category 8 can sleep up to 5 guests, but not all rooms. Put 5 guests in when you search, and it will only return those rooms that will sleep all 5.

The configuration is the queen bed, twin-size sofa, twin-size pull down bunk, and a twin-size Murphy bed.

Enjoy your cruise!
