What other Villians options do you think will be coming our way?

After the Unleash the Villains event Friday night at DHS, do you think Disney will revisit the idea of a Villains-themed land? Or at least a hard ticket Villains party? I'd even settle for a Villains character themed meal?? Obviously the Villains are very popular. Surely the powers that be at Disney recognize this and see the $$ making potential of these Villains, right? Any thoughts??

Even if the original version of the 1900 Park Faire dinner returned with the Disney Villains.

I agree! I would have loved to been there on the 13th. I would pay for a / an (insert villains idea here). We have two teen DDs this would appeal to for sure!

The original dinner at 1900 was Capt Hook, Queen of Hearts, Jafar... It was still the "British" character breakfast (Mary Poppins, Hundred Acre Wood) as it is now, but the Cinderella cast replaced the Disney Villains at dinner.

Thanks! That sounds like it was very cool. Wonder why they stopped- I would def make a reso for that!

Disney needs to learn from this... Villains are a huge market - take the carsland area that isn't going to be developed and create a Villains land!!!

I think a character meal with Villains is a brilliant idea! :thumbsup2

I also would really love to just SEE more villains. They are usually the most fun and without them, there wouldn't be much of a story to tell.

More meet and greets with Villains would be so cool!

I would love to see Yzma (Emperors New Groove), Darla (Finding Nemo), King Candy and Cy-Bugs (Wreck it Ralph), Lock, Shock and Barrel (Nightmare Before Christmas) and Syndrome (The Incredibles).

I saw photos of some Villains from the party that I truly hope will have more of a presence in the parks going forward...Oogie Boogie (Nightmare Before Christmas) and Hades (Hercules)!!! How cool would that be?! :scared1:

YES! I would LOVE to get my pic made with Yzma or Syndrome- very cool idea! I agree- the Villains are a HUGE market for Disney. In addition to things they could do in the parks, just think about the merchandising options. Big $$! Surely if we know this, that Disney has figured it out too?? :confused3

While I would love a stronger villain presence in any form, you can't really use a single evening special event as a solid argument for it.

I just want Captain Hook back at Pirates of the Caribbean or at least maybe Peter Pan's Flight...

I could foresee the rampant success of that night leading to a hard ticket event in DHS off peak season. I think their biggest concern would be would it canabilize MNSSHP/MVMCP. They tried having a third hard ticket event in the slow spring a few years back with the Pirate and Princess parties, but they weren't very successful. I wonder if they might consider this as an alternative for that season.

Had a great time last year at Hollywood Studios getting my picture made with Snow White's evil queen. We had an interesting conversation about children. Obviously she does not like them much! Great experience and she stayed in character the whole time.

Back in 2010 we went for a surprise trip to celebrate DDs birthday (7 at the time) and our first day we went to DHS and saw the Snow Queen (or whatever her official name is) doing a M&G in the Oscar room back in the Animation section. Well, DD was being shy, and so we asked for an autograph for DD for her birthday, and the Queen made everyone in the room sing Happy Birthday. And when everyone started kind of quiet, she shouted "LOUDER!" Then she insisted DD took a picture with her. The Evil Characters are so much fun to M&G. (And don't get me started on Cruella or Cinderella's Step-Sisters!)

I think the issue that's prevented a villian section of the park, or any big investment is that some kids (my DD included) are scared of the villians and won't have anything to do with them. I assume Disney is worried that this would limit any appeal of something being truly villian-centric.
