We want to get four different sets of FP during our CA day. We will be at CA on a Monday (July 21) and it's an EE day but we don't have EE. The FP that we want are: RSR, Screamin, TOT, and Soarin. I had a plan set but that was when Screamin and RSR were disconnected. What order makes sense for getting our FP now that those two are connected?

Following! We will be there the same day. And no EE as well. Are you heading to TSMM first? My plan is all messed up now!

I think so. I don't want to wait too late though to get a RSR FP because we are doing Fantasmic that night, so I want an earlier FP for RSR.

I've heard they are lasting much longer now so I bet you can ride TSMM first then run back and get a RSR FP for earlier in the day. Then maybe head to Screamin? Or TSMM, then Screamin', then RSR FP? I'm curious what they wait for TSMM will be at regular opening. Hopefully less than 45 min. I'm happy RSR FP are lasting longer...but unsure what to do about them being connected now! Decisions, decisions!

I know! Too many decisions is driving me crazy!! I've watched the past few days and today the FP were gone by 11:00. I might send my dh to get FP right after we do TSMM. Do you think we'd be able to get screamin FP right before we get in the TSMM line ? We only need screamin FP for three people.

Hello everyone!! I Can help!! This is my home!!

My suggestion: get in line for fast passes for cars rode first thing!! Nothing else is important ~~trust me~~ then walk swiftly to the back and make your way on tsmm.. If you don't you won't get on!! Then your good for the two best rides in the park! Enjoy GFS because it's really really fun!! :))

I'm thinking the stand by line for Screamin might be short. It's SO hard to tell though. Reason being is we were there in December and went to TSMM at EE and there was NO ONE going on Screamin! Even after regular opening that area of the park was dead because of RSR and the people that were in the area were going to TSMM. But everything changes so often!

This is the order I typically go in:

Cars ride fp!!!
TSMM.. If you don't go now you won't go at all
Screaming
GFS
Soaring -the stand by is never that long-
Tot
Aladdin show -you don't want to miss, it's a nice break from the so cal heat and the genie is so funny!!

Also if you guys need any other questions answered PM me I am so excited for you both have a great time!!! Get a chili cone when you go to cars land! They are yummie :)

We were there this morning at rope drop (not EE today). My husband went straight for the RSR fast pass while my daughter and I walked to Carsland. He caught up with us just before we entered the RSR line with fastpasses for 8:45. Got to ride twice before 9 and still had plenty of time to get fastpasses for GFS and soaring this morning. At 11 the TOT fastpass return time was 12:10. Didn't do Screamin but the line never looked that long.

We got through the gates a little after 8 this morning and straight to the FP line for RSR. I think it was 8:15 or so by the time we got the FP and it was for 10:20am. We then headed back to TSMM, and it was a SLOOOOW 20+ minute wait. I think something was off with the ride. California Screamin looked like a walk on during this time. When we went back past the FP distribution for RSR around 9:15 the return time was for 5pm.

If you are planning to be in the park all day I would go to MM first then California Screamin then get a RSR FP. It will be for later in the afternoon or so, but if you get one by 9 I think you're golden. I would not wait too long to ride MM because the line is awful.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is GFS? I don't see any attraction with those initials.

Thank you.

Goofy's flight school. Sorry. I'm new here and I wasn't sure if that was an abbreviated ride or not.
~~ I hope everyone has a magical time at California Adventure!!~~

Just remember that if you plan on RSR FP first, have a backup plan just in case RSR isn't running right at RD. They dont issue FP if the ride id down. This happened to us a few times. When it does, we hit TSMM first then standby Screaming. After that we go to Mickey wheel. While on the wheel you might be able to see if the cars are running. If they are I go right back for RSR FP. The one thing you don't want to do if the RSR is down is pull a FP for something else and lock yourself out of pulling another. Of course this plan is on non EE days....so I don't know how often RSR is down during regular RD on EE days....but worth thinking about.

Thanks everyone! Thanks mydisneyfix, I wasn't even thinking about RSR not running. I know it happens. Will def make a back up plan!

So I'm thinking we are going to get RSR FP first and hopefully get an early enough return to grab another before they run out! We have DS4 and DS6 and cannot do single rider. Then head to TSMM, Screamin' (DS6 is finally tall enough), then Goofy's or Mickey's fun wheel because all of us can ride both of those. Then probably Ariel's and head back to Cars Land for Mater's and Luigi's. :goodvibes I usually never plan out my day like this, so we will see if we follow this plan! LOL. My parents are joining us this trip and I want to make sure they get to see everything!

Here's a "rookie" type question. If I want to get a FP for RSR on a non-EE morning, how early do they let you in the main gate to line up for the FP? And then how early would I have to line up at the main gate so that I'm not waiting for 15 minutes in line for a FP?
