Very cool! can't wait to watch. Did you say hello to your DIS friends on air?

You know I did talk about the DIS - I was trying to explain to the AP & director about the secret of the lime green. they were very bewildered. i don't know if that will make it to air i am very curious as to what will be included, they shot hours & hours of footage!

and Suzanne, I did see that thread!! I am very curious as to what they look like! I'll have to check in and see if anyone posted a pic.

I imagine comfort doesnt come into play with what they have to air!!

did you get to keep any of your clothes? (they showed a behind the scenes and talked about the donation of a lot of the clothes, and that they do decide what you can keep)

Did you really take ALL your clothes?? (or could you hide some lime green crocs?? )

Thanks!! I love that little chicken. He did accompany me to NYC but did not get any camera time (I was NOT risking him being kidnapped by Stacy & Clinton!). You may seem some puppet poultry though (unless it ended up on the cutting room floor...with the 10+ hours of footage they shot i can't imagine what will actually make it into the 47-minute show!)

Philadisney! That's who you are. I remember reading your trip report, it was the first one I read as a matter of fact. I loved reading the 6 days of POFQ one with cute little Mr. Vacuum. I could never find it again though, even with searching for "Mr. Vacuum". Yay, I'm happy now.

Today was my friend's birthday, and she wanted to spend going clothes shopping, so off we went. It was the first time I had done some serious clothing shopping since the show (I had picked up a couple pairs of shoes since then, but nothing else). I didn't get much today - a few more pairs of shoes, a sweater, and a shirt - but I just had to show you guys one of the shoes I picked up at DSW. It was one of my first attempts at buying a pair of heels for myself in my entire life:

Actually they do fit in with what they asked me to look for in a shoe! One of my 'problems' was that I liked bright colors - everywhere. Lime green sweaters, electric blue vests, and of course that flower jacket. so they asked me to buy brightly colored shoes, jewelry, & tanks - and tone down my pants, jackets & shirts.
I bickered with them a lot about the pointy toes - I thought they were so odd looking. I thought they made me look like the wicked witch of the west. I have since warmed up to them though!

Ooh I haven't seen it! I will have to watch TLC for the new promos. My friend watches TLC religiously and says she hasn't seen me yet, so probably not.

I got an email from the show's associate producer today saying that the network has changed the date of my show to the much-sooner November 30th! Hooray, I was getting quite impatient waiting for January to come.
