What -No fish?! No Mickey Mouse? What kind of Magical Vacation is this?! March 2010

Okay I'm trying to keep this report going but things have just been super crazy! I learned pretty quick that you should type your DIS posts in Word first. Then when you're ready to copy, paste & submit it. Well I was finishing up Day 4 in Word and doing just that on Sat morning and I went to save the document and Word shut down me! Normally that wouldn't be so bad b/c the system typically the auto-recover will retrieve the file well Murphy must be back in town b/c it didn't! I have done a complete search of my computer with no luck. So it looks like I'll be rewriting that section today.
But hey I'm pretty hyped up anyways because it's only 1 day, 14 hrs,
29 mins and 40, 39,38....secs 'til The Twilight Saga Eclipse is in theatres! So I should be able to get Day 4 done while I'm trying to keep myself busy until time to go the midnight show tomorrow night!!

Lunch at House of Blues was great. DTD was nice and all that but it was time to say goodbye head back to the parks!

You know I’m not sure exactly what route we took getting to HS from DTD but I definitely think it was the long way. I always thought you could take one of the boats from DTD to HS but we were told that wasn’t the case. So instead we took a bus to CR and then hopped on another bus at CR to get to HS (whew!).

It was about 3PM when we arrived at HS. The girls really wanted to ride to RnRc so we headed there first. The wait time was 70 minutes. Now don’t get me wrong I’m all for good ride but I am not a waiter and have no intention of standing in line that long for anything! So, we picked up our FPs and headed over to what would be our first ride on ToT.

For some reason the Dad’s decided to sit this one out. Instead they grabbed themselves a cold one while they waited for us.

We got on ToT pretty quickly. Now Emma has ridden ToT several times on previous trips but this was going to Ashley’s first time and naturally she was a little nervous (although you wouldn't know it by these 2 pictures).

So while we were in line Professional ToT rider extraordinaire, Emma tried to comfort poor Ashley by telling her how cool the ride was etc, etc. However, by the looks of the ride photo Emma appears to have been the one that needed comforting.

Or maybe she was just freaked out by the site of these guys!

Afterwards we meet back up with the Dad’s. DH was ready to hit Star Tours, so we headed over there. The stand-by line was only 10 minutes, so we got on pretty quickly, did the ride, then walked on down towards SoA to catch Muppets 3D.

Starting with our 2nd trip to WDW, DD & I made it our mission to meet at least one new character on each trip. So when we exited Muppets, we saw Lightning McQueen and Mater. We couldn’t pass up those two!

After our visit with Cars we started back towards RnRc. On our way we stopped at The Great Movie Ride. This was the first time we (The Bagby’s) had ever ridden it before. It was interesting.

Now it was time for some RnRc. Unfortunately I don’t have any good pics from RnRc except this one I took of ToT from the RnRc line and this other taken while in line.

Once we got off RnRc it was about 7:30 PM, the park would be closing soon. The girls were begging for ice cream and the dad’s were itching for another ‘cold one’. Neither sounded appealing to Stacey & me so being the thrill seekers we are we decided to take another ride on ToT. This time the stand-by wait was only about 10 minutes. You know I am always amazed at the detail put into this particular queue. I think it really makes the ride. It’s also where the inspiration for my trip title came. See in one the ‘libraries’ you enter before going into the boiler room is a copy of actual music written in the 1930s titled, "no Mickey mouse? What kind of party is this?" I thought that was kinda cool. Unfortunately this is the only picture I could get of it.

Upon exiting Stacey & I stop by to catch a glimpse at our ride pic. OMG! The poor CM Bob helping us thought he was going to have to call 911 and get someone to bring me & Stacey some oxygen. We not only laughed until we cried but ‘til we practically hyperventilated and here’s why.

Now I’m sure none of you will believe me but honestly I made that face on purpose. Or maybe, just maybe I was just having flashbacks to this guy. (check out the guy in the background)

Honestly I did! From the previous ride I remembered about when to expect the camera so I amped it up a bit. Well at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

After the ride show, our group joins in the exodus of people leaving. We make our way out to the bus stop, and then jam ourselves on the bus with several hundred other tired park goers. (Don’t ‘cha just love the post-show cramming of the buses.)

Just wanted to mention also that I am a Twilight fanatic, too! Although I must admit...I'm Team Jacob!

Hey Joni! Welcome to my little corner of Disboards! Yes DH is quite the entertainer. I had him reading your PTR last night. It was great! I've been trying to get him to join Disboards so he could add his commentary to ours and liven it up some.

I think we can still be friends - I'm Team Switzerland. So are you going to the 12:01 midnight screening of Eclipse tonight? I can hardly wait! I've been burning up the soundtrack all day!!!

Haha, okay I'm glad that you are Team Switzerland! My best friend is Team Edward and sometimes she and I just about beat each other's butts! And to answer your question, YESSSS I went to the 12:01 show! I had my Team Jacob shirt on and I was there at 10:30! What did you think of it? I absolutely LOVED it! I want to go see it again right now! What is your favorite song on the soundtrack? I love #6!

Loving the TR so far! I especially love the picture with the Stitch hands! My DH and I took a pic like that last year-- but didn't buy them. When we got home, my nephew FLIPPED OUT over them! My DH plays this game called "monster hands" where he "traps" him in his arms. He slowly released the kid-- but if the kid makes a noise then hands clamp down again. My nephew LOVES it for some reason.

When he saw the picture, he said "monster hands for monster hands" and was so sad that we didn't buy them.

I am SO glad to see they are still there. The hands will be our first purchase in September!
