So it’s been a few weeks since we returned from WDW & I think it’s ‘bout time to get this show on the road!! For those of you that didn’t read my PTR here’s a little recap.

This was my family’s 4th trip to WDW and the 3rd trip for our friends, the Arrington’s. But for the Arrington’s this would be their 1st trip staying on site and it was our goal to convenience them that this is the only way to go!

Travel dates: March 20th – March 27th
Resort: All-Star Movies (a 1st for both)
Travel Method: Fly (Southwest & Magical Express)

March 19th – Eve of Arrival Day

Our flight was scheduled to depart at Birmingham at 7:20AM which meant getting up really early. So I finished up the packing then attach the yellow tags sent by Disney Travel Company to our luggage. That’s when I realized they only sent us 3 tags!! Panic sets in – I am freaking out. I reviewed the packet when it came in the mail but I just assumed (& we all know that means) that each strip/sticker represented 2 tags = 2 pieces of checked baggage per person– WRONG! It was after 10 p.m. now so I knew I would not be able to reach anyone with Disney. PANIC TIME – remember what I said about Murphy – well as you can see we’re real tight!

In an effort to keep my post short and not have it drag on I am going to pause here. When I return here shortly we will pick up with what happened to our luggage and our arrival at ASMO.

Yess, I took pictures of EVERYTHING. I'm still working on that TR, come on over. I'll be finishing it in a few weeks and then start a new PTR.

Well here it’s a little after 10 PM, the eve of our trip and I’m in panic-mode wondering what to do about my 6 pieces of luggage and the 3 luggage tags. So I did what any other DISer would’ve done, I hopped right on DISboards.com and began searching for solutions and suggestions. I quickly discovered that I’m not the only ‘***’, because I found several others that made the same assumption as me. One of the threads said to check our baggage as usual, leave the yellow tags attached the way we had them and when we arrive at MCO go to the Disney Welcome Center located at the airport, give them our claims tickets and they would take care of it.

Still uneasy with the whole situation I realized there’s nothing more I can do. So I got ready and headed on up to the local Wally World to meet Stacey so we could get in line to buy the New Moon DVD. It was going on sale at midnight!! Finally about 12:45 a.m. I decided to try and get some sleep. If only my nerves would give it a rest!!

(P.S. In case you haven't had a chance to go back and read my PTR me & my friend Stacey are a couple of those crazy Twilight obsessed people. To give you a little idea, take a look at the T-shirt DISign I created for us)
