Is it a Restaraunt? Is it a food? Here's mine

1. A Villian's character meal.

2. A TS place in the American Adventure at Epcot that serves Regional US foods.

3. A True "Pizza Joint" at either Downtown Disney or the Boardwalk that serves both New York and Chicago style pizza.

4. bring back the Tuna Pita to the ESPN CLUB.

5. A Walt Disney tribute restaraunt. Could be a mix between Sci-Fi Dine in theater and the Walt Disney one man's Dream attraction. maybe be playing clips of Walt from movies and TV while having various props and memerobilia
throughout the place that Walt created or worked on.

1. Delicatessen!
2. Real pizza joint with hoagies and subs and such
3. More soups and salad bars

1) Villain character meal sounds fun!

2) Bring back the ORIGINAL DINING PLAN!! If you have to increase the price to make up for the losses that's one thing but expecting people to cover parts & lose food is not making people happy!

3) Free Dining Promotions continued

4) More deli type counter service places - a place like souper salad

5) Increase snack credits in EPCOT around the world - allow snack credits everywhere on anything below $4 - $5 NO QUESTIONS ASKED (I mean we DO PAY for the DDP don't we? At least allow us to get our moneys worth!) - 1 snack per person per day isn't a lot of food!

6) More counter service places in/near
Animal Kingdom
Holywood Studios (the counter service places right now are a little blah!)

7) Monorail Service more places!

8) Bring back the fun at special places to eat!

9) Increase DDP to 2 or 3 snacks per person per day

10) Do away with QS, deluxe & premium dining options etc. ONE FULL DDP for all with some add-on features for extra $ like pre-scheduled character dinings, fantasmic dining packages, etc. The DDP is too complicated as it is.

11) Allow certain fast passes to be retrieved directly from your hotel or at pre-checkin

Oh! And...

12) Bring back some of the restaurant menus you did away with on the nicer food items. Even Carribean all inclusive resorts offer carribean lobster for gods sake! If you're paying $1500 per person for a trip all inclusive you should be able to get a good bargain.

I can't think of any new things I'd like to see, but there are plenty of old things I'd like to see return-
1. Bring back Dopey at the GF breakfast
2. Reopen Bonfamiles at Port Orleans
3. return to the former menu for lunch at CRT. I don't know if they'd have to discontinue having the characters at lunch there, but I really miss the chicken caesar salad there.
4. Bring back the Strawberry Swirl at the Enchanted Grove-that was one of my favorites!
5. Bring back the 1/2 sandwich and soup offering at Columbia Harbour House.
6. And bring back the pistachio flavored gelato at BCV-I can't believe they discontinued that!

I would love to see the tables not so close together in many places. The worst is LeCellier.

have more sugar free/ low sugar choices in snacks and drinks

I've always had a pet peeve regarding the American Pavillion and lack of decent regional food. Philly cheesesteaks and pretzels!!

NYC is the birthplace of pizza as we know it.

Maryland crabcakes.

Maine lobsters.

Vermont cheese.

NH maple syrup.

Southern soul food.

Midwestern Beef.

You could have an entire restaurant of just different types of BBQ from St. Louis - Carolinas- Tennesse- Texas.

The USA has the best food in the world but the American Pavillion has the worst food in the (WD) world. Funnel cake excepted.

Just expand the parks already, will ya? They keep selling tons of DVC rooms, big meal deals to attract even more bodies, but they don't bother expanding the parks. It's gonna be gridlock eventually. mark my words.:sad2:

Whats this they got rid of the soup/sandwich meal at Columbia Harbor House?!!!

Blasphemy!

:(

Ok so here we go:

Agree with changing American Pavilion to regional-cuisine, Country Fried Steak, meatloaf, BBQ (BTW Missouri BBQ is in Kansas City not St. Louis)

For pity's sake bring back the sandwich/soup at CHH. (I need a hug! I loved the clam chowder and tuna salad sandwich combo)

I agree with bringing tips/appetizers back to basic dining plan, increase the price, but it would make it more desirable.

they greatly reduced the menu at whispering canyon, and got rid of the chicken/potatoes/sweet apples and pork chop! I loved that!

offer option of character/non-character meals at the same restaurant. I would love to eat at the Crystal Palace but have no interest in Pooh, maybe keep breakfast and dinner but make lunch no characters? Same thing at Norway in EPCOT.

add true counter service options at the DVC resorts, especially OKW. I know they are considered vacation homes, but we are still on vacation, not everyone wants to cook. (or can in a studio)

I second the St Louis BBQ should mean Kansas City BBQ. I dream of the day seeing people walking around Epcot with a big rack of bbq ribs wrapped in newspaper.

I think it would be nice to have a mongolian style bbq restaurant, maybe as a new buffet restaurant.

There are lots of things that I really miss in eating at Disney. I am sure I can't list them specifically, but I hate the "Dumming Down" of the menus. If the DDP is the cause, then change it to make it profitiable - even if it is more expensive. The current state of affairs is sad.
Bring back the soup/sandwich choice at Columbia Harbour House
Bring back the Prime Rib at Rose & Crown
Bring back the Shepherds Pie at Rose & Crown
Bring back the Scallop combination dinners at Teppan Edo.
Bring back the missing "feast" at Restaurant Marrakesh
I could go on and on but I won't

I would love to see:

The Tapestry Parade back to Epoct.

or maybe some sort of parade for Epcot.

Bring back the Magic Kingdom closed counter service. The Magic Kingdom just plain doesn't have enough places to eat and what there is to eat is often limited and dismal.

I'd bring back the Adventureland Veranda with a somewhat Asian and South Seas menu--pineapple-topped burgers, lo mein, etc.

I'd reopen El Pirata Y el Perico full time with a decent Mexican menu.

I'd bring the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace back to its glory days. Once upon a time, I had a wonderful pad Thai, pot stickers, and ginger creme brulee at the Tomorrowland Noodle Terrace. The next time I came back, eagerly anticipating Pad Thai, I found a limited menu and wound up eating some soggy broccoli thing. Boo!

Figaro fries back at the Village Haus!

And, while we're at it, how about some decent counter service at DHS?

Also, change the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station back to the Plaza Pavillion!!!

I love the villain character meal idea. Although my younger ones would be scared, that would be an awesome idea for Disney to do to gear towards adults/older kids. Maybe someone of importance reads this board and can make it happen :)

Bring back the beuf and blue at Earl of Sandwich
Increase the ddp and give back the appetiser and tip
Allow wine and beer to be served at ts restaurants in Magic Kingdom
Bring back the speciality cocktails in bars
Have 1 more restaurant WITH NO CHILDREN ALLOWED something a bit cheaper than V&As.

1. Some more upscale restaurants that are quieter and aren't echo chambers would be good. I love the CG, Flying Fish, etc, but dang they are loud.
2. I agree that the menus are becoming dummed down at many locations, and that should change.
3. Finally, I would love to see a french retaurant themed after the movie "Ratatouille". That would be so cute :lovestruc and I love french food!:worship: Nevermind Epcot already has Chefs de France. I think "Ratatouille" would be perfect for the MK.
