What new Attractions are going to open for the 50th Anniversary? Do you think there will be any surprises?

We're crazy thinking about planning a trip during the 50th, but it looks like it's going to happen. I know the new France attraction will be open, though hoping that there might be a surprise or two. Any speculation?

The only surprise I could see is possibly an opening of the Space 220 restaurant.

I think the 50th celebration is supposed to last 18 months. I'm interested in if we'll get the TRON and Guardian's attraction open before the end of 2022 ... or early 2023?

I think there will be an announcement related to Genie and Fastpass (though I don't think it'll be a surprise as in, "You can go use this now!"). I suspect they'll use the attention then to talk about what's coming (and highlight that in whatever Christmas programming they have this year as a way to build up to 2022). Does Disney usually do a surprise at something like this? I honestly have never paid attention - but my guess is that they're less likely to do the "And one more thing" that Steve Jobs/Apple did/does.

My guess right now is Tron in Summer 2022 and Guardians end of 2022/early 2023.

It’s possible they could have the Moana water trail open by October 1. I don’t believe it’s as complicated as a roller coaster or a dark ride so shouldn’t take long to construct and test.

The new shop replacing Mousegear and Club Cool in Epcot are supposed to open this summer.

Is Club Cool not coming back?

In May 2005, for the a DL celebration, DISNEY opened many attractions and shows .
This was a mistake. Disney realized they should have spread out the "new" things to keep guest coming back through out the 18 month celebrations.
That is why they will open something every few month, not all OCT 2021

I think so too. Cosmic Rewind will probably open summer/fall 2022 and Tron Spring 2023 to hit the very end of the 50th.
