What music did you have for your Ceremony?

I am having a hard time picking the music my bridesmaids will be walking down too. Does anyone have a good song they used?

Also, I kind of want to walk down to Cannon D, I think my FH wants me to walk to here comes the Bride. Any Ideas?

i just picked my music. i didn't like the idea of coming down the aisle to here comes the bride - that's just me. i picked a piece of music i liked from a movie. i provided my planner with the sheet music for the song.

here is my music:

Groom (Wedding Pavilion only)- Someday my price will come "Snow White"
Bride - Dawn from the Pride & Prejudice Soundtrack
Recessional - There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow from Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress

we are not having a bridal party or a sand ceremony.

We had a small party. So Disney pre-ceremony music concluded with the moms walking in together to "it's a small world".

Groom, BM' officiant and MOH came in with baroque hoedown (all by organist). I came in with "when you wish upon a star". The rd sessional was IAGBBT!

oh by the way i wanted to mention that the organ at the wedding pavilion (if that's where your ceremony is) can be made to sound like a piano. i don't the idea of having a organ playing. I haven't heard it yet but that's what i'm doing.

Here is what we picked for the WP:

Officiant, Groom, BM ~ He's a Pirate (sounded really well with the violin and organ)

MOH ~ A Whole New World (my daughter was the MOH)

Bride ~ When you Wish Upon a Star (one of my favorites)

Sand Ceremony ~ Welcome (Brother Bear)

Recessional ~ Ever, Ever After (although I really wished I had thought of It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow)

I walked in to Here Comes the Bride - but it was more of a piano version, not the organ version on the CD. I was fortunate enough to be able to hear the organist play it at my PS and I fell in love with it.

My bridesmaids walked in to Cannon in D Major. My flower girls went in to "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes."

For our sand ceremony we used "I See the Light" from Tangled - beautiful song. Would've had more meaning if we were doing a unity candle - but most people didn't know the words to it anyways. I just love the song without the words too.

I have seen reference to a CD provided by Disney which contains some of the most popular songs played on the organ-are Escape brides (international) provided with this as I have no idea what the organ will sound like and which songs I might like?

My entrance: When You Wish upon a Star
After Rev. Day's welcome: There is Love/The Wedding Song by Paul Stookey (CD)
Recessional: Fantasmic

At the cake cutting we'll have Unchained Melody played by the violinist (because it's "our" song).

We're not having a bridal party but we both love the song and it goes with our theme "hawaiian casual".

We are planning to have a violinist or violin/flute duo for our ceremony, and so far all I know is that I will be walking down the isle to the main score from Braveheart. Actually, it will be the softer version in the movie titled "For the Love of a Princess." We both love that movie and it's love story.

DF will be coming down to the main score of The Boondock Saints, lol.
