What Music Did You Grow Up To?

Everything pretty much. My mom listens to a huge variety of music from all different time periods, and what she didn't listen to my grandmother did. On my own, like everyone else, was Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Britney Spears, S Club 7, etc.

My mom listened to Journey, Boston and The Beatles. My dad liked KISS and The Ramones.

The first time I got into music, I was 12 (pretty late :P) and I loved Panic(!) At The Disco.
So I guess I could always say they got me into music. [:

i grew up with evanesence, classic country, NSYNC, back street boys, Britney spears

Beach Boys FTW!

I used to listen to them ALL THE TIME when I was little. Because...you know...I was cool like that. :cool1:

I also listened to the Hanson brothers. I had the biggest crush on Zack Hanson. It was rediculous.

Classic rock, forever and always.

I listened to Brittney Spears for a bit, but I really was never a current music fan. I still don't like it.

I grew up listening to EVERYTHING for the most part. Especially The Beatles.

80's Music
mostly Rock

i.e AC/DC, Judas Priest, Aerosmith.
all of those.

and then some other bands from other eras
ABBA and such

oh and evenesance

Garth Brooks, George Strait, Clint Black, Martina McBride.

I grew up on the classics of country music.

Add Reba to this list and that was my childhood soundtrack.

I didn't even know other music existed till I was about eight.

My mom really liked Bryan Adams, so he was a big part of my early life as well. I remember driving through town, with the speakers blaring Summer of '69, and then next "rocking" out to Fancy or The Night the Lights Went Out In Georgia.

When I was little I listened to Disney soundtracks mostly. That's all I really remember.

Then, when I was about 6/7 I started listening to Radio Disney.

So, basically, it was Disney music and then mainstream Radio Disney- Brittany Spears-N*Sync- Backstreet Boys stuff.

erm....
shania twain, queen, frank sinatra [my mom loves him :rotfl: ], things along that line.
and phantom of the opera<3 [which wasn't so bad because I lovee it.]

My mother is into country music, so anything in that genre. My dad is into the Blues Brothers. My aunt listened to the Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and the Foo Fighters. My uncle listened to The Who, the Beatles, Status Quo, Led Zeppelin.. anything rock basicly. Then my cousin was really into the Spice Girls and anything pop.

So, that's the soundtrack of my childhood. A little bit of everything. :lmao:

The Beatles and U2.
I knew all the words to most of their songs by the time I was 5.

You know when you like give birth at the hospital and they tell you to bring in music? well, my mom brought in Led Zeppelin when I was born.
She says that's why I'm such a spaz/classic rock nerd now.
