What Movie Leaves You a Slobbering, Blubbery Mess?

I was wondering if I would come across any posts for What Dreams May Come. That is the absolute worst for me. The tears start coming as soon as the movie starts and don't stop crying until about a half hour after it is over. I think what gets me about that movie is how strong his love is. Who wouldn't want something like that? I went to see this movie with my boss at the time and she never let me live it down. I can't help it.

There are plenty of other movies that have been mentioned already that also get me. The Fox and the Hound gets me also.

Meet Joe Black (saw this not long after my dad died), City of Angels, Ghost, Field of Dreams, Steel Magnolias, and of course, Titanic.

Sandy

I cry at everything , but a few that hit me extra hard are:
The Cure
It's My Party
Philadelphia
Step-Mom
And The Band Played On
All of those are just very real situations to me & hit me so hard that I can barely breathe....I will not watch any of them alone (made that mistake with The Cure) & only with people that are very close because I wind up feeling so raw & exposed afterwards.....

One that I didn't see that is a beautiful love story that pings the ol heart strings "Always".....

You all have named many of my favorites, but the movie that gets me the most is "Glory." Hasn't anyone else watched that movie and cried? The bravery . . . the courage . . . to know that you're marching to your death and still you march on . . .

Where are my Puffs?

Yeah, I'd have to agree with Apollo 13. But I think that comes more from "Patriotic" reasons. What about "Gettysburg"? I know. Most of you haven't even seen this one. Armisteads scene with Longstreet in the tent with "Kathleen Mavourneen" being sung in the back ground and him reminissing. And later, after he's been shot and he finds out his friend Hancock has also been shot. "NO! NOT BOTH OF US! NOT ALL OF US! PLEASE, GOD!!!"

I know, it's long. But it's really a great movie. (If you can sit through Titanic....)

Beaches
Sound of Music
Brian's Song
Little Women
The Green Mile
Steel Magnolias

.

Thank you!! That's the part that always got me too! Everyone I know thought I was strange because I did not cry when ET was thought to be "dead". Instead, I cry at the "happy" part. Good to see I'm not alone.:D

I guess I'm more of a "happy" crier. The end of "An Officer and a Gentleman" always gets me teary.

Most of the movies that make me cry have already been listed.

Beaches (probably my #1 tissue movie)
Steel Magnolias
Titanic
Forrest Gump

Some of the ones that have not been listed.

Pearl Harbor
Mr. Holland's Opus (I always crack up right at the end)
Courage Under Fire

Watership Down.
The scene where one of the rabbits is dying (can't remember his name) and you can hear the song "Bright Eyes" playing in the background. It makes me think of all the times I've lost a beloved pet. Bring on the kleenex. I actually had to delete the song from my hard drive because I'd start crying whenever I heard it.

Toy Story 2 (when they show the Jessie montage and play "When She Loved Me" Brings me to a blubbery mess.

Oh yes forgot to mention Philadelphia

I forgot one that most people have probably not seen....Anne of Green Gables when Matthew dies gets to me every time.

I bawled like a baby for.....

ET (but only the first time)
Seventh Sign
Phenomenon

I cried at all of the movies mentioned and cried for hours straight after Schindler's List, but one movie I don't see mentioned that leaves me a blubbering idiot is Testament.

Terms of Endearment
Old Yeller
Bambi
Steel Magnolias
Hallmark commercials
TV weddings
Okay well just about everything
