What months really require you to stay onsite for FOTL?

Would really love to go this year and just can't decide when. Obviously June-August would require an onsite stay for FOTL. If nothing else but to cut down on time in the Florida heat during the day. We went last June and stayed at the RPR, it was money well spent because temps that week were in the upper 90's.

But what months could you go and stay offsite and still experience small wait times in the parks?

After Harry Potter opens in the spring, I doubt seriously there will be small wait times any longer. Anytime you can afford to stay onsite...do it!

I agree :thumbsup2

We were just there the weekend before Thanksgiving...both parks in one day, no problem.

Another thing to think about is, you aren't paying 100+ dollars for FOTL, the hotels at Universal are amazing for the price you pay. :thumbsup2
