Just wondering what months are their off-peak rates and vice versa for their peak rates. TIA :flower3:

Your peak times are going to be

Whenever Spring Break/Easter Falls during the year...the week of Memorial Day, June, July and August, the week of Thanksgiving and the week before and the week of Christmas as well as the week of New Years.

Off season is generally January (after New Years), February, and into March (Depending on when Spring Break and Easter falls). Then again the end of August, Spetember, October, the begining of November and the begining of December.

Pretty much anytime that school is out is going to be higher priced as that is when the demand is there.

Libertybelle, thanks for the info, this will help us in planning our trip :sunny:

What about the week after Thanksgiving, or the sunday after for the Wonder. Anyone have any ideas?

baileybaby: The week after Thanksgiving is considerably less than the week OF Thanksgiving.

Just as an Example the Wonder 3 night sailing on Thanksgiving day (11/25) for a party of 2, a Cat 10 (deluxe inside) would be $2059... if you wait for the 4 night sailing Nov 28 you can get a CAT 6 (Deluxe stateroom w/verandah) for that same price...if you wait for the 3 night sailing on Dec 2 you can get a Cat 4 (Deluxe Family stateroom with verandah) for that price...

On the Magic the week OF Thanksgiving a Cat 11 (standard inside) would be $3291 for a party of 2 the week AFTER Thanksgiving a Cat 11 would be $2310. Significant savings to wait a week.

I was just trying to make examples, these prices come from the DCL web page and include transfers and insurance :) But you can see the difference.

The Passporter says on page 43 that there are two sailing in jan that are pretty cheep and set, oct and the first part of nov. I have found the cheepest one is the sept 17 sailing of the eastern cruise.

I generally just go to the web site and play around. Pick different dates and see what is cheaper based on the slower seasons. My sechedule is very flexible so I find the cheaper sailing and go for it.

I was looking at the allseasons site and noticed that the westerns are usually a little more than the easterns. It is because they are more popular?

Maybe the western is more expensive because it goes to 1 additional port which means more docking fees?
