What month should I buy? plus a few more questions...

Anxious to become a new member! We plan on coming the end of March every year. When would the best month be for points to become available so we have the best chance to book the reservation? Do you have to wait for your points to be available to book? ie - if your points are available in Dec. 2004, can you book a vacation for March 2005 now or do you have to wait until Dec. and then try to book it for 2005, or do you wait until Dec. and book for 2006. Sorry to be confused, but I can't find this info anywhere! Thanks so much!! Can't wait to buy in!!

When your use year is (when you get your points) has nothing to do with when you can book. You can always book at 11 months from the date of check out, and MS will take the points from the appropriate use year.

December, February or March would be good for you (there is no January). That way if you had to cancel your end of March vacation, you would have quite awhile to rebook or bank. April would not be good because the points would have to be used by March 31 if you cancelled.
