I know we all have our favorite times to visit Disneyland due to crowds, weather, seasonal shows, etc. When is your favorite time and why?

I voted for October although I have been to Disneyland every month but March, July and January and haven't had a bad trip yet! October was nice probably because it was our first visit so that makes it special. It was nice and warm, but not too hot weather and some of the lowest crowds we ever had.

I have been there in every month but would give the nod to November. The crowds are low (except this year....the 50th sure brought out the crowds!), the weather is usually pretty good and DL is decorated for Christmas. Nothing makes me happier than Disneyland decorated for Christmas! :cloud9: It is beautiful all the time but the lights on Small World take my breath away!

I am really surprised so many have choosen November! It was our best trip by far! The weather was delightful, the crowds were super low, the decorations were great, and we had a terrific time.

April or May would be my second favorite as the crowds were bigger, but not as massive as June or July. The weather wasn't oppressive and it was nice.

The only reason I choose May is b/c Az. school gets out before Cal, schools by about 2wks (i think). My next choice would be Sept. :rolleyes1

I agree with Zeus on Nov. It's beautiful in the parks in Nov.. low crowds, holiday decorations are up, nice weather. Definitely a great time to go. The only negative (IMO) is that the holiday overlay for HM is up and I don't care for that.

Second choice would be Feb. The crowds are very low during that month, even on weekends. They negatives is there will generally be a few rides down for refurbishment then. And the weather... it can either be gorgeous or rainy. You just never know.

I agree with you. We went this year durign President's Week and for a holiday week we had no lines longer than an hour (for Space) and many walk-on rides. Plus the only rides down were Haunted Mansion and Redwood Creek Challenge Trail

I like Disneyland anytime as there are pros and cons to each month. I chose February because I went there a few years ago over Valentines Day and we just about walked onto every ride.
