What modes of transport do you trust the least?

Question is too vague. Do you mean from a safety standpoint or some sort of issue about arriving on time without needless delays?

Public Transit. Our local transit district has an app to map the best routing for your commute. For fun I put my information in.
Commute to work: No options. System didn't start running until 2 hours after I had to be at work.
Commute home: Routing took one hour and 45 minutes to go 13 miles, which with traffic, is a 30 minute commute by car, 20 minutes if there is no traffic.

Catapult is not prone to mechanical failure = reliable. Also launches on time.
The importance of accuracy depends greatly on if you are aiming for a body of water in the target area. If it's all solid ground, accuracy ceases to matter, from a transportation standpoint.

Motorbikes probably would fall off
Totally agree. Motorcycles feel the least trustworthy to me. They seem more dangerous, especially on busy roads. Looking at Roadie reviews could help you find safer transport options. Cars and public transportation feel much safer in comparison. Prioritizing safety is always important. Anyone else agree?

I took this train up a mountain in Nepal once, and they just have serious maintenance issues, because every time we'd run into where the tracks were all bent up and we'd have to proceed backward down the mountain! They have some real problems on that line. The staff kept blaming some snow monster, but that sounds like an excuse to me. 😉

Trebuchet. ooops he didn't come out of the sling. Splat. Poor sap didn't get anywhere.
Hype a loop.
Boeing space ships.
Boeing Max.
Uber or Lyft.

My car and me. I totally trust. It's everyone else and their car or truck I don't trust.

I know it's weird and doesn't meet the odds but I find anything I'm not in control of driving I lose an amount of trust that doesn't make sense to me. Somehow feeling in control of the vehicle makes all the difference in the world to me. I know it's not correct, but it's how my brain functions I suppose.

You aren't alone. My father didn't trust anything that he wasn't driving. He had been an airplane mechanic during WWII and to his death he would never get in a plane because he knew how many things could go wrong with them. He never factored in that as the years went by they might have made improvements. He would not allow anyone else to drive him anywhere and since where we lived wasn't really a train friendly place, if he wasn't driving, he wasn't going.

I also have that to some degree, but I learned to accept that there were some people out there that were as skilled in whatever vehicle they were operating as I was so I took planes, trains, buses and automobiles. Whatever one happened to be the easiest for me to use to get to my destination. I have a son in law that is constantly criticizing my driving which would be ok except that he has been involved in over a dozen crashes in his life and I have been driving for exactly 60 years, drove municipal buses for a living and have never been in an accident. I've only had one speeding ticket and that happened back during the fuel embargo when the federal speed limit was 55 and I was doing 62. Yet, he doesn't trust me. Guess who I don't trust.
