get off the plane head right for the Alamo Parking Lot/Garage hop in the car & off you go, no long ALAMO Lines....

That is if you have no coupons or extras like car seats or boosters. Coupons you can't do it for sure and I'm pretty sure about the extra stuff as well.

Where did you rent the Cadillac SRX from, and what was the car class? I'd love to try one out!

I just turned in the lease on a 2004 V8 AWD. Its a sweet car, probibly the fastest SUV ive ever driven (Besides the 06' Trailblazer SS I got to replace it ). Not to mention the SRX has the coolest sunroof...

my family rents from the hertz club gold, and we got a kia amanti in both may and august of last year (i am not sure of the cars' year or mileage). i remember seeing a lot of other amantis at hertz during each of those trips.

I'm confused. Do you mean you booked a minivan with "Emerald Reserve" and took a car from the Minivan aisle or did you book a minivan with "Emerald Reserve" and took a car from the Emerald Aisle (which is the aisle for Intermediate reservations)??

My last car this past Nov/Dec was National. It was one of those new Chevy HHR cars that remind me of PT Cruisers. It had ONE mile on it.

Reserve Emerald Aisle (Intermediate) and got the HHR off that aisle.

Trip before that in Sept/Oct also at National Emerald Aisle; booked an Intermediate. I got a small SUV. It's side view mirrors didn't work so I had to turn around and go back to the airport and the National worker went and got me a replacement. A nice BIG full size SUV. It was big. I can't remember the maker though. Not bad for booking an Intermediate.

The time before that we got another small SUV, National, Emerald Aisle (Intermediate).

I believe with Hertz, to guarentee a certain model, you must be a #1 Club member. As far as the GT/v6 thing goes, I cant believe Hertz would buy V8 GT mustangs to rent out (The tires would be shot after 3 rentals )...

Beattyfamily ... sorry ... I booked a minivan using Emerald Reserve is what I meant ... just went to the minivan aisle on the second level and picked one and checked out on the way out ... it was nice and simple. Our first time using this and will do so again next year Was hoping for a Toyota Sienna, but we just missed it by minutes!!!
