What Mickey Mail do Canadians get?

Hi all,

We live in Ontario and are planning our 1st WDW trip Nov 9-16th. We got our ME package with luggage tags at exactly 34 days out via Purolator, but haven't seen anything since about our resort package. It seems like American visitors get two mailings very close together for their packages - do Canadians get the same and how much longer do we typically have to wait for the resort piece?

I'm also in Ontario and got the following in the mail for both our trip last year and my upcoming trip:

ME package booklet (had confirmation of our trip, some coupons)
ME tags
Luggage tags

I think that's it?

When you check into the resort they'll give you your KTTW card and all other info. So as long as you got the ME stuff all should be good!

Should be exciting to escape this sudden drop in temperature... yay for Florida fall weather!

I received on day 33 or so the ME stuff: yellow tags for the luggage and the information booklet.
On day 32 or so I received a booklet about my entire trip (itinerary) and all the vouchers along with the Mickey Mouse luggage tags.

If we are flying from a Canadian airport (Calgary) do we get yellow Magic Express tags? Can we use them, and if so does it mean the luggage gets transferred straight to resort / room?

We will have cleared immigration etc in Calgary before flying.

Yes Canadains flying into MCO via an airport that has US preclence (customs) in it can use the yellow tags. The only thing we can't do is have them pick up our bags and take them back to the airport for us. They have to go under the buss.

This may be an obvious question, but this is our first time staying at a resort (AOA), we have rented houses before so we never got mickey mail , we will be picking up a rental car at the airport when we come in , can we use the luggage tags if we wont be traveling on the ME ? or should we just keep them for keepsakes ?

Nope you have to use the Bus to use the luggage transportation due to security reasons.

If you mean the hard plastic "fill your name in" luggage tags then yes, you can use them.

If you mean the yellow long strips that have your resort name on them with a bar code, then no...those are Magical Express tags and keep them for keepsakes.
