What makes the Princess character breakfast at Napa Rose so popular?

My mom was reading a story about the Princess character breakfast at Napa Rose and I have never figured out why it's become so popular and according to my mom it is a pricey breakfast but worth it if you are a princess fan. What princesses appear during the breakfast and do you get anything like a goody bag after your meal? I cannot figure out how this character breakfast is so pricey but they should lower the price and have the princesses come greet you at your table instead of having you go outside to meet them because I find that an annoying pain and for the price they should have the princesses meet and greet inside the restaurant

In my eyes I think Napa Rose is trying to be like Goofy's Kitchen and I think they want to be a top restaurant for character dining. But I cannot figure out why they rush people who bring their little girls to meet the princesses outside and to me they should've made the princesses meet inside the restaurant like I mentioned earlier because having an outdoor meet and greet with the princesses is nice but little girls want to be inside meeting them. I basically think Napa Rose made the princesses meet outdoors due to the pandemic and they should give people better goodies in the goody bags like a Princess Nui-Mo doll and not an Aurora figurine

We've done the Princess Adventure Breakfast twice. This past January we met Raya, Mulan, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Tiana, Merida, Rapunzel and Belle. I like having the princesses meet outside. It makes for much nicer photos. No drinks and half eaten plates of food in the photo with your family.

The other reason they have the meets outside is to have more room to interact. I haven't seen it, but sometimes they have the princesses read a story or do interactive bits (like warrior training with Mulan, that sort of thing) and that requires more room.

They were doing the meets outdoors before the pandemic so that had nothing to do with it.

I hear they do give kids a gift (maybe a necklace or drawstring bag) but we are adults and none for adults.

I personally think they were inspired to do a pricey princess event by the Sleeping Beauty tea party they used to do at the Grand Floridian back pre-Covid. It was about the same price and each child got a doll to take home with them.

Is it still in Napa Rose? I don't think I would do it if it is not in Napa Rose, recently they moved it to a ballroom while Napa Rose remodels. Nothing like goofys kitchen, much better enviornment, food and service much better, low volume, it is clearly high end, food is amazing. Not rushed at all. Not for everyone, but right next door is Storytellers for less than 1/2 the price if you want the more Disney type crowded experience.

This guy brought 5, that's a lot, I would say the majority of the tables are mother+ daughter, or girls only fun trip for the genzers

This expirence is still probably my top Disney experience of all time. I did it with my daughter in fall 2022 and felt it was worth every penny. Not only was the food simply amazing, the 1:1 private interactions with the princesses. I know right now it's in a different location due to construction- but at Napa rose the princesses were spread out in private locations like the balcony, etc. they don't come around to the tables- you go to them and our server would let us know when it was our turn. No lines. My daughter got a little back pack and a necklace.

The pictures I have from this are some of my favorites.

I haven't heard that it moved back yet to Napa Rose. I'll do it again when we go back in January, but not if it's in the ballroom. I can't believe they are getting enough people paying that price for such a bad setting.

Well I guess it's popularity is because it's the only character breakfast with princesses at Disneyland..

But geesh, I just looked up the price and yes that's expensive. It's more than Cinderella's Royal Table (coming from someone much more familiar with WDW).

But I'm fairly certain that guy who posted on X is just looking for attention.

This must be the breakfast in this article - it's all over - how could he have not known the price.......he must be looking for attention.

The X account that posted the receipt is pure satire. It’s shameful some national media outlets reported this story as factual. It’s almost a certain he posted the receipt of another partons’ bill at Napa Rose or similar (but not a princess breakfast).

Oh I believe they could get to that price at the brunch. Children cost the same as adults. I think it’s currently 142. For 5 that’s 710 plus any drinks they ordered, tax and tip.

Well, anyone who's reading the NY Post either knows to take their stories with a box of salt or is too gullible to know what an actual factual story looks like.

Yes, could, but the X account is pure satire. It’s far more likely the receipt came from Napa Rose dinner than a princess breakfast.
