i'd have to say i enjoy using my 100mm most at this moment but just wondering what others like the most.( guessing that will be superseded by 70-200 when that comes) i used my 28-135 most, due to laziness er i mean not wanting to get dust on the sensor but didn't really like it most

Right now I don't have the funds to upgrade to a DSLR but I'd like to do more with my P/S Kodak Z760. I believe I can remove the lens, etc and get new ones. What would you recommend and where from. I've seen cheap sets on Ebay but I'm assuming I'll get what I pay for. TIA!

That's very easy... my Pentax 50mm 1.4 is definitely the favorite lens in my collection. Wonderful sharpness, color, bokeh, it's lightning fast, it's small and lightweight... what's not to like?

OK, it won't impress the lens spotters due to its diminutive size... but for image quality, it's very, very tough to beat.

I'm a total nut for fast lenses now. I can't see myself buying anything slower than F2.8 unless it's a very long zoom.

On my last WDW trip it seemed my 10-22 was my favorite. It's not a "walkaround" so the 24-105 gets used the most but the wider lens is *so* much fun!

Good point. My Zenitar 16mm fisheye is a ton of fun, too. It'd probably be #2 on my list.

Though I would love to upgrade it to the Pentax 10-17mm (180' on a DSLR! available for other camera mounts through the Tokina brand) some time... but that'd a little pricey even with a $100 rebate.

I have the 28-135 and love the focal length (for what I do) and the IS, but the IQ is lacking.
I LOVE my 85mm f/1.8, its the sharpest lens in my bunch but the focal length is kind of limiting this time of year when I'm mostly stuck in doors.
I just got my 10-22mm UWA about a week ago and haven't had a chance to to really test it out yet, but I'm loving it so far.

Right now, though I don't use it a lot, it would be my Tamron 90mm f/2.8. Crazy sharp. Sharpest in my bag. Takes wonderful pictures. Great for tight portraits. I've gotten some great upclose head shots of the kids. Haven't had a lot of time to really use the macro. Been to cold outside to try some winter macro stuff. When the leaves start changing and the flowers come out and the dragonflies come back I really look forward to putting it to some serious work.

For a p&s, it sould not be a removable lens, but an add-on that gives you either more or less focal length. You need a seperate adapter to make one work. A quick search gave me this site. http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=1937&pq-locale=en_US

As for my favorite lens, it is my 50mm f/2 by the results, but my kit stays on more b/c I really like to shoot wide. The manual focus on the 50mm is a pain sometimes, but it is an auto aperture so it meters without an extra step.

did you end up bidding on those ebay ones? i couldn't find the same ones( well that i were sure were the same) but it looked like they are around 90-100 for the kodak brand...i did get taken on some sinapore cheapo junk :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 on ebay but if it's a name brand it would give you a little more room to play with the different focal lengths
