What land could you spend all day in?

So with a mention of the upgraded Tomorrowland (yes that happened years ago haha!), and looking at my park habits I was wondering how others spend their day. Do you find yourself spending more time in one area/land then others? Why?

I tend to spend about 85% or more of my time in the New Orleans-Adventureland area of the park and some days I never leave these areas except to leave the park! hahaha!

Why so much time? Well between some of the best rides over in that section, great shops, and shorter lines on the rides in this area, it tends to suck me in and I run out of time for other areas!

My least is Toontown, since I am a bit too old :rotfl: for the area. But I forsee spending much more time there in the next few years.

I agree with you fairycat, most time is in NOS/Adventurelane - also heading over to Critter county. Definately my favourite area...

...

Hmm, also, we spend a fair bit of time over in Tomorrowland, Buzz Lightyear being my favourite ride, and Space Mountain being DBF's...

Actually I spent a fair bit of time in Main Street, browsing and shopping, and people watching.

Ooh, and I can't leave out Frontierland, I really like walking behind BTMRR and taking in the sites... Of course BTMRR and the Billys help me to stay there a while too...

There's so many good photo opps in Toontown though, and cute little shops, so I can't miss that...

All the classic rides are in Fantasyland, and I spose with the lengths of the lines, you can't help but spend a lot of time there...

Ummm... so in conclusion... I think you could say my favourite land is Disneyland!!

NOS.

The riverfront, the winding little pathway "streets," the shops, the boats, the entertainment, the people-watching. I have, err, I mean, I could sped all day there. :wizard:

My thoughts exactly! Would love to just stroll around this area all day, but my kids have other ideas. :confused3

My least favorite is Tomorrowland. I can't stomach roller coasters anymore or even Star Tours for that matter. There just isn't much to look at over there. I like the shopping there though.

Main Street is definitely a close second to being my favorite. I could sit on a bench there all day and soak in the atmosphere...and maybe a corn dog...or a churro...or a Dole Whip :rolleyes1

Hmm, I'd have to go with NOS/Adventureland/Frontierland. And like the pp I love sitting on MS, but that's not really a "land" is it? lol

Or all 3!! YUMMY!!! Now I'm drooling :goodvibes

Before we had kids we were everywhere. We ride everything and many times so no place is left untouched! I also love spending time in DCA. But now with the kids we are in fantasyland, toontown and bugs land a lot. I dont mind though because I love everything at DLR  :lovestruc

When I was a teenager, my favorite Land was Tomorrowland; there was always so much going on there, plus the whole thing was so "retro, 60's, 2001 A Space Odyssey". :cool2:

Now, it's a tie between New Orleans Square and Frontierland for my favorite. NOS has the best restaurants, IMO, plus 2 of my favorite rides. pirate: :hmghost: And Frontierland is kind of like walking into an old Western film, plus I like to watch he Disney Kitties at Hungry Bear!

NOS...because I love Pirates! Oh and Frontierland too...I feel like they all kinda blend together sometimes and it seems those who like one, tend to like the other just as much! And I just love the atmosphere over there! :goodvibes

I can't pick! We zip around the entire park and DCA all day long. From one thing to the next. Not very efficient, but good exercise!

I will say that Fantasyland and Toon Town have been end up largely neglected when we have limited time.

I would say Tomorrowland but it is looking tired these days and needs some help. But I guess they are busy with DCA at the moment.

New Orleans Square, baby!

ESPECIALLY during the Holidays... I love walking down the alley and looking up at all the adorned lights and ornaments... It's gorgeous.

Not to mention the HMH looming over the distance :).

I was thinking I can't be the only one that spends less and less time in Tomorrowland. While it has two great rides Buzz and SM, its just ugly over there and with SM's line always so long I usually only do buzz and leave :sad2:

Ya TL is definitely not my favorite place to be. Altho there is usually good pin trading over there. LOL

I don't know if I could spend a whole park day there (I'm one of the people who must do everything, and multiple times at that), but my favorite land has to be New Orleans Square. There's so much detail there, and I think the Court Des Anges has to be the prettiest spot in the whole park.

Yep, those are the two rides I go to there also. FP for Space, of course. I do like the bathrooms in TL. Does time spent there count? :rotfl: They have those neat alien signs.

With DS it's Fantasyland - or more specifically, the dumbo ride.

When we go without DS it's probably a tie between the NOS/Adventureland area and Tomorrowland. We avoid Fantasyland like the plague during those trips, not because we don't like it but because we know we'll be spending a lot of time there when DS is with us.

I don't like Tomorrowland at all. Don't like the rides, the atmosphere/theming, the food, the shops, nothing.

I love Adventureland, New Orleans Square, and Frontierland. I basically think of them as one big land since they all seem to run together anyway.
So when I am walking down Main Street toward the castle, I always head to the left. :thumbsup2

I agree that Tomorrowland is ugly. It needs a lot of help to get it up to the standard of the rest of the park. I noticed during Christmas time that it looked so bare compared to how the rest of the park was decorated. But I still like Space Mountain a lot and Buzz is fun too. Oh and I like the Autopia too. As mentioned in a previous thread, Star Tours could use an update.
