What kinds of things can you buy at the $10 and understore in DTD?
whanting to know prices and what kinds of thing you can get.

Think all the little souveniers that you would find throughout the parks and resorts. Toppers, small beanie plushes, pens, those little magic towels (they come in a tiny square all folded up and then unfold to the size of a wash cloth), golf balls, small plastic toys. Last time I was there (Sept/Oct) they had a CLRX section where I think it was you could pick 5 items from this walled section for $10. I got a princess magnet, Mickey/Minnie christmas sticker gift tags, and two water bottles, one blue and one white with a tiki design and mouse ears on top, and something else I have forgotten. Other things that were available with this CLRX deal included some beanies (I think Ursela), small statue of the gator from Typhoon Lagoon, mini disney bears keychains, mini soccer balls, etc.

We aways hit this store. We also got the pick 4 items for $10. We got a 4 x 6 picture frame with the castle on it, a sunshade for your car with all the characters on it, my husband got a ball cap. We got some really good things. As someone else posted there's a lot of little items.

We hit this store too....have a ton of neighborhood kids and this is where we go to get the kids gifts...4 for 10.... last time got key chains, paint sets, all kinds of cool stuff...

Sounds like a great place to buy gifts for my son's friends. Where is this store?

Thanks!

The name of it is like Mickey Market. Right when you walk in to the entrance by the xmas shop, go to the left and it's on the right next to Goofy's Candy Shop. My husband also got a basketball mickey ear ornament for $2.50. Oh, we got a mickey bobble head and mickey had NO SHOES ON!!!! Have you ever seen Mickey's feet? I'm sorry but they are funny looking. We laughed. BIG BLACK FEET! Too Funny!

O.k. I guesse I need more explanations. Was everything $10. like 10 bucks a pop - eg. beanies. Or were things hanging on walls like this wall is 4 for 10, and then that was was 5 for 10, and that one was 3 for 10. Or is stuff indav. marked $3.50. Or is only the clearence stuff so many for $10. I am trying to do a budget game for my kids. I wanted to put things like buy a beannie baby for $10. Or you can get an orament, a keychain, and a poster for $10. Oh ya were are the cool poster I hear about, Thanks again

I got pink fuzzy dice with Cinderella's castle on them for $5 there last year...

Merchanidise is $10 and under.

They have merchanidise in baskets on the walls, they have merchandise on displays on the floor, they have merchandise everywhere. If I recall they had the items grouped by prices. I would think most of this is clearance merchandise.

The store is narrow and long, and each time we have walked through it has been very busy, so we have not spent much time.

We're planning on hitting DTD on Monday night of our stay. Do you think that Monday nights are busy? I have told my kids that they can pick whatever the want from that store. What do you think? :wizard: :cool1:

Telling them they can get whatever they want in there is safe. We were there last week and I spent $100. My girls insisted on getting "grab bags" for $7, they were a little disappointed. The "Special of the Day" was red white and blue women's t-shirts with a castle design on them. My neices all got one of those. They were 2 for $12, and I had planned on spending about that on each of them. I did not realize that everything in the store was not clearance until we got there. More than half of the store is things you can find at any other on-site gift store that is under $10. If you are a real bargain hunter and have the time and a car the outlets are still better IMO.

I don't know how busy it will be, but in general that is a pretty busy part of DTD. It seems no matter when we go it it is congested - as much to do with the size of the store, as the crowds.

Thanks. I guess I'll just be prepared for the crowds and if there are none then it'll be a surprise! LOL!

Thanks for the info! I'll have to make sure to check things out.

Just got home from there and actually didn't buy a thing at the $10 store. They had a lot of Hallowe'en stuff out for clearance and a bit of Christmas stuff. The outlets are good to go to and I found a lot of nice stuff at the Super Target on Highway 192, especially if you want stuffed animals cheaper than at any of the Disneys stores in the parks.
