What kind of wedding band do you have? The wedding band thread!

I'm trying to pick out a wedding band to match my e-ring. I have a 1 ct 6 prong solitaire, and I'm torn between a plain band or one with diamonds (specifically an eternity band - furthermore I don't know if I want prong set or channel set) WHEW! Please post pics/descriptions of your wedding band. I'd love to see your e-ring and band together too! Thanks ladies.

Hi!

My engagement ring has an unusual shape, so I got it to fit my right hand and now wear my wedding ring on my left hand. I don't like having stuff between my fingers and I don't want to worry about knocking stones out, so I got a plain band. We chose palladium because it looks like platinum and is stronger than platinum but is WAAAAAY cheaper than platinum.

I only have a pic of the engagement ring so far...

my rings don't match at all...I have a 4 prong solitaire and a 5mm platinum band w/diamonds.

I really like prong set eternity bands, though...you can't go wrong with that...

my rings dont match either, i have a round diamond set in a square setting so quite different and then my band is around 5 mm wide with two rows of diamonds and then the middle is brushed gold so totally different

My E-ring is a .50 carat center stone with 6 side princess cut inverted stones measuring .30 carats- white gold. My wedding band is 32 stones 1 carat total weight- white gold. It is not a perfect match because there is no match for my E-ring, but the gold filligree compliments the inverted princess cut stones. I love them! It took me over 2 months of serious searching to find my wedding band! DF wedding band is pictured at the right.

In the pictures here it doesn't look like my e-ring & wedding band match but they do. The diamonds are the same size/color/etc. It just looks very different because of lighting. Not really sure of the sizes lol...I don't normally wear diamonds.

I love my band... I was debating between the one with only half the stones around or this one. This one won out ...
Personally the I love the prong set because I can see more of the rocks instead of the metal.
But the channel set might be safer in case of knocking stones loose if you are rough on your rings.
Heck... that's what an insurance is for right?

i didn't know what i wanted for my band...my e-ring is a 2 ct 6 prong solitaire and the band is 1.3 or 1.5 ct with three bands of diamonds, a row of canaries surrounded by 2 rows of white diamonds. i love it!

We came SOOOOOO close to getting those!!! I ordered them in sterling and they were too "thick" for my fingers so we never ordered the gold version, but they were our first choice!

My band doesn't match my e-ring either. I had to have my e-ring re-set to sit right with a band. I wanted matching bands for DH and I and they had to be simple, "narrow" but I wanted some "sparkle" too.

I think it's probably the same as yours. A smidge over 1 ct 6 prong tiffany style.
The eternity band is from Tiffany also but I've seen a similar one from bluenile.com.

It's 20 round diamonds total 1.6ct. So about 0.08ct/pc.

Tiffany has another style that is about 8 or 10 diamonds across. But the one they had in the store I can still see the metal bands (smaller stones) on the side which is why I decided to go with this one. I can't wait for April

Here's a similar one from bluenile. The settings is not exactly the same but it's WAAAAAY cheaper than tiffany...
I've never bought anything from them so I can't vouch for them.
We had to appraise my ring to get insurance and it is appraised about 10% less than what we bought it (because of the name I know ).

We didn't buy ours as a set. I was adamant about what I wanted (1/2 carat emerald cut), but my DH was insistent that I try on rings.

On the drive to go ring shopping, he described his perfect wedding band. He wanted a tricolor gold braided band. The first place we walked into had it, so we tried on wedding rings before I'd even tried on a diamond. We bought those first.

After trying on a dozen rings, my DH then went back to Chicago and bought exactly what I'd asked for. I love my set, we both got what we wanted.
