I have the following recipe one can use chicken or turkey (great for thanksgiving leftovers!)......but want to know what kind of side....hot veggies and anything else???

3oz pkg cream cheese softened
3 T marg melted
2 C. chopped chix
1/4 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
2 T milk
bread crumbs
Crescent Rolls

Place two crescent rolls out into square shape
mix cheese and 2 T. marg ...add rest of ingredients.
place desired amount onto crescents...fold ends to
center...spread with butter and sprinkle with crumbs. 350 oven
20 to 25 min.

so tastey....but what would be appropriate as side? Simply
hot veggies?

Thanks!!!

If I'm doing any sort of pastry I like a bit of mash - the softness is nice with teh crispness. :thumbsup2 But crescent rolls are fattier and softer so I think I'd just do boiled potatoes and a nice green salad.

We always seem to have brocolli when I make this and my husband also likes stewed tomatoes.:)
