What kind of shoes would you wear with your costume?

Going to MNSSHP friday night, and not sure if sneakers go with my costume! but they are the most comfortable shoes i own. I was wondering what others have worn in the past, that they can walk around in, and that still looks good.

depending on what it is, go get some white Keds and paint them to match.

Can you "dress" up your sneakers with some pumpkin charms or something. I would opt for comfortable because people won't be looking down at your shoes with all there is to see and it won't be fun for you if you are getting blisters. Have a great time.

All of us girls are going as princesses and my DH is going as Prince Charming. My little ones are wearing princess sneakers with their dresses and I'm wearing keds. I did get some blue shoelaces to match my dress but that's it. My DH got black sneakers for his...

Go with comfortable shoes! It is night and dark - people will notice your costume, but not your footwear as much. (unless you are in a shorter skirt - -then I would fabric pen color some canvas tennies as the other poster suggested).

I noticed that we did a lot of walking because we wanted to hit all the trick-or-treat areas (BTW the walkway between Toon Town and Tomorrowland is the ultimate for candy!) The other thought is to bring some comphy shoes in a back pack - we have done that so our girls have the cute princess shoes on for the picture, but the comfortable shoes for the walking!

Have fun!

My DD6 wants to be a ballerina. Can ballet shoes be worn in the parks??

I'd always opt for comfortable shoes. The last thing you want is a ruined night because of blisters.

As far as ballet slippers, I guess the little girls can wear them. They don't have any support and no protection at all if someone steps on their foot.I'd probably put them in white or pink tennies.
