Hi everyone, we are going in 26 days! Woohoo! First trip with our DS3 and
DD6. What does everyone recommend for footwear? I got my son crocs, but my daughter is in between sizes right now....and for my DH and me....I am not exactly the running shoe tppe of gal especially when it will be hot when we are there. Any suggestions would help, thanks!:cool1:

I wear sling back strappy sandals by Minolo Blanik. Crocs are popular... wear something conformable that is broken in, there will be walking, and whistling while you work.

I just love and have worn for years sneakers/cross trainers from RYKA. I purchase them from the Woman's Footlocker. They are very comfy, I insert extra support, and I have never had a problem with them. Good luck finding a comfortable shoe and have a wonderful vacation!:thumbsup2

I alternate between my maryjane crocs and my nike flip flops. Always works for me! I call the flip flops marshmellows b/c that what they feel like. DF and DM where the flip flops all week with mom alternating with birkies!

Teva sandals are my favorites. They dry quickly when I get them wet & I've never had any foot problems. :goodvibes

I'd say the answer is wear whatever is comfortable and to hell with what they look like!

I mean, enough people wear Crocs and they're hideous  but if they're comfy, who cares!

I try to alternate between trainers and sandals but always end up with blisters and split feet held together with moleskin and band aids.

This is a good question. We do Disney every Sept. Last year I used walking shoes because flip flops are NO good for heal spurs! I was wondering if the crocs might be a better option for those rainy Sept days!

If I had a pair of Manolo Blahnik's I sure wouldn't wear them to Disney :sad2: ...I leave all of my "good" shoes home, no one cares at Disney what my shoes look like ;)

Crocs, Crocs, and Crocs! LOL!! :thumbsup2 After wearing them, I won't wear anything else!

Crocs - it's a no brainer!

I'm not a running shoe kinda gal either but for Disney World I buckle down and tie on my pair of pink and white New Balances. I've had too many bad experiences while NOT wearing sneakers- feet wet from the rain, feet cold, feet hurt, etc etc. I would recommend just going out and finding a cute pair of sneakers. NO flip flops and I disagree with the Minolo Blanik comment- like the poster before me, I leave all my good shoes at home. Crocs are always an option but I'm assuming that since you're not a sneakers kinda gal, you aren't a crocs kinda gal either. Good luck!! :)

Crocs athens sandals, Reebok sport shoes, crocs beach, etc.

Okay, the truth is I usually bring 3 or 4 pairs of shoes with me because I NEVER know what my feet are going to want.

Incidentally, my son wears converse hitops. Since our last "Land" trip was 4 days I offered to buy him Crocs. . .he refused. On day 2 his feet hurt so bad (shoes got wet on water rides, he got blisters) that he begged me to buy Crocs for him. Now he practically lives in them. . .lol. Remember, he wore these unbroken in for 3 days in the parks. You can't go wrong with them.
