What kind of prices have you gotten for BC in Jan.? We have APs and it would be the 3rd week of Jan. 09. Are the rates different for weekend nights in the off season? We have never stayed at the resorts in this area before and want to stay at BC the last 2-3 nights of our vacation, depending on the prices. Does anyone know how much more rooms with a view of the channel are, and can you get one for sure or might we end up with a pool view (we don't like pool views). Any insight would be appreciated. Also, any other insight into what we should be looking for or know about this resort would also be appreciated. Thanks.:cool1: :woohoo:

I booked thru AAA during their disney month(Jan) for a Sept trip and I could have had $215/night for water view.I didn't take it because i took a 1br villa for $300/night

I'm a AAA member and I never knew the deals could be that good. If I'm looking at the chart correctly, BC rack rate water view in Sept is $395. Your $215 deal is approx 45% off. Wow!

As far as OP's question, I'm an AP holder and normally BC gets around a $80-100 off per night discount during value season. 2008 has had different rate structures and discounts so far, so it's hard to predict what next year will bring. You can do a search on here for the thread when AP discounts were released for your time frame this year. I will take a look and see if I can find the thread. It will tell the exact rates people got.

Ok I found the thread where the Jan - Feb 13 AP rates were released. It seems like this was the batch of AP discounts there was a straight $50 off per night no matter what level resort. Disney hasn't done it this way since then, so I'm not sure what will happen in 2009.

This is so funny, but in scanning that thread, it looks like I actually asked the question for sample rates at BC!! I think I was just curious....

AAA rates usually are not that good except when you book during January ( which is AAA's Disney month) I think this year they were trying to compete with the 40% off pincode that alot of people were getting.I did not believe the rate quoted either( it sounded way too good)Luckily, I have it in writing.

Well good for you! That's awesome. I will be paying a little visit to my AAA office this January just in case a deal like that is offered again.
