We are taking ME and have never used it before. Can you tell me if we need our drivers license to get on the bus or just the tickets?

You should receive a packet with a "ticket" to get on ME. It is a page in the packet with a bar code for each person. The driver will scan the bar code.

You should get your packet around 30 days before your trip

Just the ticetsthat are located in the DME book you receive. You won't need any kind of identification.

correct, no license needed. just the ticket that came in the mail to you.
now if you forget that ME ticket, you will need your license at the ME counter in MCO for them to create a new ME ticket for you but that would be the only way I can think of that you would need your license.

You might need it if you lose (or never receive) the ticket to get on the bus, but you are going to need ID to get on the plane, so you'll have it with you anyway.
