a Timely question I think ;)

We have gas forced air which is probably the most common here. Weve had electric heat in the past but weve never lived anywhere where weve had oil heat.

We have water/boiler heat...with the radiators on the outside walls. We had central air put in a few years ago along with a new furnace. So, when the boiler goes...we will switch over to the gas forced air heat

It's Gas/Forced Air too....and lots of it these days!!

We have had Oil...smelly and Electric...expensive! This is the best!;)

Electric/forced air. Down here gas heat is actually more expensive than electric!

We have forced gas air heat too.

Let's see....propane hot water baseboard heat , two fireplaces, electric and a portable propane unit for emergencies, do you think we will ever go cold?

We have gas run radiators, not sure if it is called something else, but that is what we have. In our last house we had oil and it was awful, I never want oil heat again. Have had electric and it was very expensive.

Oil with steam radiators. I love steam heat! Good thing I also love old houses. LOL!

Gas forced air in the current house with electric baseboard in the kennel.

The new log home will have radiant in-floor heat and no forced air.

The cheap kind...wood. It helps that my husband is a lumberjack too. The only drawback is...it is our only source of heat. That means we can't go anywhere for the weekend in the winter together. One of us is tied to the woodstove. One of these days when we get rich, we will get a backup heat source. I don't foresee that in the near future as I got word that I will only be employed for 120 days at which time everyone here where I work will be out of a job!

Thank god, it costs us nothing to heat our home in times like these.

We have two heating systems gas/hot water and Oil.

We used to have electric...too expensive on the Cape.

DH and I currently have G/FA but I used to have Gas Hot Water heat which I much prefer over all.
