Please! The field mice totally deserved their bopping. They've been tormenting Bunny Foo Foo for years. But like in so many other cases, the Good Fairy only sees the retaliatory strike and Bunny Foo Foo takes the fall while the field mice get off with only a bit of a headache.

Now poor BFF is stuck being a goon for eternity. Just sad.

But I bet a lot of people started singing it that way in the Barney era. I actually learned the song when my kids were into Barney back in the mid 90s.

I learned Little Bunny Foo Foo and Alice The Camel in Campfire Girls in the late 70's, early 80's. Never heard of Missy Susie.

Growing up, it was always the Hairy Scary Fairy who turned Little Bunny Foo into a Goon.

I just Googled the lyrics and it listed her as the Good Fairy.
