what kind of dog do you think this is?

I've had a couple of rott/lab mixes that looked just like this. Well, they were black, but they were from a black lab. Either way, she's gorgeous. I love mixed dogs.

Her face looks a little short to be all lab. She kind of resembles a pit bull from this angle. She's pretty though.

I would ay half pit bull and half lab.

I'm going with chocolate lab, looks like ours when it was a young "gangly" pup!

I don't see any rottweiler resemblance at all.

As for pit bull, not really---my brother has 3 registered labs-a black, chocolate and golden/yellow--the golden/yellow when he is running looks like a pitbull but he is 100% lab--parents were black and golden.

Take it to a vet about the microchip and they should be able to give you a fairly good idea

LAb, definetly. Pit, maybe... even if this is true, I wouldn't worry. I am a rescue volunteer and one of my favorite dogs that has ever come through was a pit/lab mix... the pit bull mixes usually are some of the sweetest, IMO. We worry obout Rotties boarding, if anything...

But my first thought was weimeraner/lab mix... the face, especially after seeing pics people posted.

My guess is a Lab/Doberman mix.

Yep. I was going to say lab or shephard/bully breed mix.

looksa lot like our dog except for the coloring. Gizmo is the color of a yellow lab. We think he is lab/english bulldog mix
