I think lab ears are more rounded at the end. They may seem part pit bull ears....maybe choc lab/pitbull mix?? I would take the pic/puppy to a vet and see what they say.
A pit would be a fear of mine because of the insurance issue and also the territorial thing. My Golden is very protective when need be but is very friendly towards everyone. She puts up with so much stuff, when the kids were little they used to tug on her ( of course as soon as we saw it we reprimanded them) and she would just sit there like " are you about done?" LOL
I need to find a dog, whatever breed, that is going to be tolerant and loving towards my kids. DH grew up with Lhasas and I grew up wth Standard Poodles. I have my big dog and now he wants a little one.
We are going to see this one today hopefully. We will see how her temperment is.
Thanks for the input!
It's important to understand the heritage of the dog you have, because you will have to live with those characteristics that come from its genes.speedydisteen said:who cares? she's adorable. i would go with a mix.
